What music are you listening to?

Did I tell anyone about my "condition"? Every day is new day to me, the experience of yesterday is lost.

I had that after my coma and strokes...while I still have gaps, mine is currently on the mend (we'll sorto plateaued, I wish the same for you.

Thank you Wil. I'm glad to hear you are doing better. Me, I'm in favor of the idea of putting it all in the hands of one who is actually capable of knowing what to do with it. It's a lonely journey but I always do what I can, stop to smell the roses, and see what happens. Sometimes starting anew each day, emotionally speaking, can be like a bodyguard. Our curses can sometimes become our greatest strengths.

Watched a doc about Clapton at the weekend.

'Layla' was all about his love for Patti Boyd, then the wife of George Harrison.

Clapton woo'd her consistently, but she wouldn't leave Harrison, even though he was by no means faithful in their marriage.

"Layla" was inspired by a poem called "The Story of Layla and Majnun," which portrayed the poet as a man driven to madness by his unattainable love.

She finally left Harrison, lived with Clapton ... didn't work.

Sad ... sad, too, that EC is such a fab musician, and such a racist ... :(

When it comes to those who rrise to the top of the music industry, acting, politics, business...we always knew they werent saints.

If the criteria were to include social justice, empathy, compassion....we wouldnt have had Thomas Jefferson, Bill Cosby, and would be listening to religious songs all day.

If there is a hell...they have better music.

Hysteria by the (un)known band Def Leppard just ended and Breakdown by the (un)known group Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, just started ("classic" rock stations for the win!)
