Thread of 2006

I am (and have been) looking around for a long time for a huge smiley face that is free. Do I really have to go into my paint program and make this? Probably the simplest thing to do. <sigh>

I don't want to do a big emoticon, because as we all know, emoticons are very emotional and take up all kinds of space on a website--but a simple work of art? That is a different story.

Maybe I am just being lazy. Anyone want to take this one and run with it?

Kindest Regards, all!

I don't know that I can pick just one, there are so many good ones. Yes, Rush to be Right is one of them.

I think the all time best would have to be: Daily Wisdom Saying

Hey Juan--Greetings and Kindest Regards :)

I thought of that one, too--especially the post that Phyllis submitted, which looks a lot like earl's old signature.

How big is huge? (Wallpaper size?) Do you want a big grin, a sublime smile, a dazed smile, or what?

This just in from the Lounge Lizard Lobby: Why is this thread where it is? SnoopShoop?

Hi,

I did wonder where to start this thread; either the B&S board or the Lounge. On balance I was swayed by “general thinking” in favour of “no religion or politics here”, not that it was intended to ignite anything! Feel free to move it if you feel the urge.

Also, with hindsight, I shouldn’t have made reference to voting I don’t think as my intention is to provide a thread where people could simply flag up a thread based on their own criteria, for the 2006 vintage. It isn’t intended to produce an “outright” winner which I think would just be, well, silly.

And this is the link to the thread I nominated>>>

Hey there, Snoopy :)

So far, I don't think anyone has a problem with this thread being here. (And I couldn't move it anyway). I was just curious. And having fun. I hope it wasn't at your expense!

I like the idea of just pointing folks to some great (or at least entertaining) discussions. LOL--old threads that come back up are interesting. Some of us have made mistakes.:o Or changes.:)

I really like the haiku chain--it's interesting to read all the way through. What's it?--something like over 400 posts there.

And then, there is "The Expanding Universe". It's a good read and :D!

Hey--I just saw your post, Seattlegal--about the smiley. I'm lookin' for one that is appropriate post-size. I may have found it. (I got grandkids, ya know.);) You got some big smileys? (Sorry for taking the thread off-track.) (Sorry for all the parentheses).

(Also, the music lyric thread is good.)

InPeace,
InLove
