Are we all God's children?

Would that be 'WE' defined by Silas, 'WE' defined by God, 'WE' defined by Jesus, 'WE' defined by someone who calls themselves Christian, 'WE' defined by those who agree with each other, 'WE' as in all those who live from East to West, or 'WE' defined by each person individually? Other?

It does not really matter since you are not a Bible believing only christian your allowed to do anything.

What does the scripture say?

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." - John 1:12-13

According to scripture, only people who are in Christ have right to be called "children of God." Ther rest are called "children of Adam," "children of wrath" and "children of the devil." Notice, also, who makes them children of God.

So it is it 'WE' the Bible believing only Christian?

Dor whatever I am... it takes me at least 5 minutes to get a post edited to the way I intended... and that was a short one! :D

Silas, it is not the definition of "Son of God" that I was looking for... it was the "WE" in your question. I can't answer your question until all terms are defined. Who is your "WE"?

Sorry. We = everybody, i.e., humanity.

Then I'm afraid as I read it per the gospel that the answer is no... not at this time... but I think all people could be and as Jesus had rebuked, "You know not what manner of spirit you are of". (Luke 9:55) Are you going to be challenging Jesus, Silas?

You seem to be a fan of God's wrath, so I was wondering if you are going to challenge Jesus' rebuke in Luke 9:54-56?

That's what I was saying...I dont understand why you used that scripture against what I said. What does God's wrath, and the scripture you posted have to do with what I said, namely that not everyone is God's children?

Isn't obvious, silas, that scripture was pointed at you. so no, it has nothing to do with the post thread.

Sorry, but I'm confused. Are you poking fun at me or were you actually making a point? Did you give your answer to the question, "are we all God's children?"

Dondi, I'm sure of that! Yet, I'm possitive that it will only be those who repent and trust in Christ.

i would never poke fun at the subject of God. point being that people easily get offended on this forum. and to answer your question. no, all of us are not His children. Only His elect.
