What Are You Watching on Youtube?

My curiosity was piqued when I heard Rita Wilson talk about why she rerecorded the song Hip Hop Hooray (one of the remixes included the group Naughty By Nature, which was the one that I listened to.)

What is kinda nice is that donations/proceeds go to musicians and other artists who are struggling during the Covid-19 pandemic (if there aren't any concerts/movies/gatherings/etc., the performers and everyone involved in the tours/theaters/etc. cannot earn their "scones and cream"/"bread and butter".)

If anyone wants me to, I'll edit this post with the video.

eta: Here's the video (Naughty By Nature & Rita Wilson) -

I watched two of the segments from last year's Kennedy Center Honors, (the one for Earth, Wind and Fire and the one for Sesame Street.) The latter also paid tribute to the late Caroll Spinney (the original Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch) towards the end of the segment.

An interesting documentary on YouTube available now. It's an inside look into the fast food industry.

Sweet Transvestite from The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Tim Curry as Dr. Frank N. Furter [I think that's the character's name].) It was posted on one of the LiveJournals that I subscribe to, and it's better than so many videos that are making the rounds.

I will post it here if requested.

A rebroadcast(?) of Queen's tribute to Freddie Mercury for AIDS Awareness (I subscribe to their YouTube channel, so I was notified of the concert.) They had the late David (Jones) Bowie and the late George Michael on as well as Axl Rose, Sir Elton John, Liza Minelli(sp?) and several others.

Just found a rebroadcast of the stage production of Cats (the one with the late John Mills.) I wish that I could donate to the different charities that these video performances are "sponsoring" instead of just watching them. :(
