This What God Purposed?​

READ any newspaper. Look at television, or listen to the radio. There are so many stories of crime, war, and terrorism! Think about your own troubles. Perhaps illness or the death of a loved one is causing you great distress. You may feel like the good man Job, who said that he was "drenched with misery."—Job 10:15, The Holy Bible in the Language of Today.​

Ask yourself:
▪ Is this what God purposed for me and for the rest of mankind?
▪ Where can I find help to cope with my problems?
▪ Is there any hope that we will ever see peace on the earth?
The Bible provides satisfying answers to these questions.​
THE​
BIBLE TEACHES THAT GOD WILL BRING ABOUT THESE CHANGES ON THE EARTH.​

BENEFIT​
FROM WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES​

Do not quickly dismiss what is presented in the bible as mere wishful thinking. God has promised to bring these things about, and the Bible explains how he will do so.
But the Bible does more than that. It provides the key to our enjoying a truly satisfying life even now. Think for a moment about your own anxieties and troubles. They may include money matters, family problems, loss of health, or the death of a loved one. The Bible can help usto deal with problems today, and it can provide relief by answering such questions as these:
▪ Why do we suffer?
▪ How can we cope with life’s anxieties?
▪ How can we make our family life happier?
▪ What happens to us when we die?
▪ Will we ever see our dead loved ones again?............... NICE​

lmmfao!!!!!!! Mee is really Louis Balfour! grrrrrreat! (I think mee isn't English so that might go way over his head.)

Anyway... Mee.... If your god didn't plan this... Then why isn't he freaking doing something? There is no way you can justify "waiting" as a good enough answer..... IF he were real he'd do something. IF he did then I would sit up and pay attention... Till then, he is either: A.) Non-existant..... B.)A very cruel being and I want no part of someone who HAS the power to change it all but sits by and watches man destroy everything... Where is the compassion and love and mercy you speak of? He would be a mean, jealous spiteful creature.... Which I would want no part of.
 
The fact is, he IS doing something about it, all of the time. You just have to open your eyes to see it. His works don't typically make the evening news but for those whose lives he touches, it is very real.

The trouble many people have with the injustices and chaos in the world is that they are looking at the world with a set of blinders on. They see our existance as starting at birth and ending with death. If this were the case, we would be most miserable creatures indeed. There would be no purpose, rhymn or reason to this life. It would not matter if we lived the most luxurious lifestyle or in the most depraved situations, we would all end up the same: nothing.

When we take those blinders off, however, and come to the realization that this mortal life is just the tiniest slice of a much, much larger picture, suddenly the trajedies we see may not be such trajedies after all.

This life was never meant to be easy or pretty. It was designed as a proving ground for us, to see how we would handle ourselves in the face of adversity. He has put us in an environment where we are free to make our own choices, to act for ourselves. He has given each of us an internal compass to basically know right from wrong and he wants to see if we will choose the right. God has not left us alone, however. He makes himself available to us through the miracle of prayer. If we approach him in sincerity he will speak to our hearts and guide us through this mess of a world. He has left his teaching for us in the scriptures to help us out in this journey. We don't have to go through this blindly.

Yes, there is a lot of evil in the world, but that does not mean that he doesn't exist or that he doesn't care. On the contrary, it exists specifically to provide us the means to become who he would have us become. Only by passing through the hardships of this world can we ever hope to receive or appreciate the joy and happiness that awaits us in the next.
 
mee, why would you ever complain that people accuse you of cutting and pasting, I don't get it, when you spend so much time digging up just the right scripture and formatting your questions...

well if you have heard it all before, as you said you did in another thread , it seems that you have got tired of waiting for the day of Jehovah . things are moving ahead at a great pace when it comes to bible prophecy Genesis 3;15 . and he is sorting it out good and proper :)

Amway has changed its name for the third time, you go to their websites and you find no reference of Amway unless you dig quite deeply. They call it 'hide the ball' you see they've got such a bad name from past actions and the actions of their members that no one wants to deal with them. Yet they feel they have a solution that is so important and so needed by the masses that they hide their name so they can get folks hooked prior to finding out who they are.

Is there a reason I don't see any JW info the site you cut and pasted from?

reasoning on the scriptures is the thing to do . the bible has all the answers to all our problems in his world
