God’s Friends Will Live in Paradise
Paradise will not be like the world we live in now. God never wanted the earth to be filled with trouble and sorrow, pain and suffering. In the future, God will make the earth a paradise. and it is a promise from the bible :)

in the paradise there will be Good people.
Paradise will be the home of God’s friends. They will do good things for one another. They will live according to the righteous ways of God.—Proverbs 2:21.

and there will be Peace worldwide. No longer will people fight and die in war. God’s Word says: "[God] is making wars to cease."—Psalm 46:8, 9.:)

and there will be Good health. The Bible promises: "No resident [of Paradise] will say: ‘I am sick.’" (Isaiah 33:24) Also, no one will be lame or blind or deaf or unable to talk.—Isaiah 35:5, 6.

and there will be an end to pain, sorrow, and death. God’s Word says: "Death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."—Revelation 21:4.

also fine houses and enjoyable work. On the Paradise earth, every family will have a home of its own. Everyone will do work that brings true happiness.—Isaiah 65:21-23.

Bad people will be gone. Jehovah promises: "The wicked . . . will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it."—Proverbs 2:22.

People will love and respect one another. No longer will there be injustice, oppression, greed, and hatred. People will be united and will live in harmony with God’s righteous ways.—Isaiah 26:9.

Plenty of food for everyone In Paradise, there will be no hunger. The Bible says: "There will come to be plenty of grain [or, food] on the earth."—Psalm 72:16.

NOW THAT IS GOODNEWS :)

Good news indeed :)

"In this Day a great festival is taking place in the Realm above; for whatsoever was promised in the sacred Scriptures hath been fulfilled. This is the Day of great rejoicing. It behoveth everyone to hasten towards the court of His nearness with exceeding joy, gladness, exultation and delight and to deliver himself from the fire of remoteness." -Baha'u'llah

yes things have been happening in the heavens ,Jesus has been given kingship of Gods heavenly kingdom DANIEL 7;13-14 DANIEL 2;44

And the first thing that Jesus did in that role of king , was to cast the rebels out of heaven .

And war broke out in heaven: Mi´cha·el
(Meaning "Who Is Like God?" Gr., Mi·kha·el´.)
and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. revelation 12;7-9

he does not want rebels to stir things up so out they go , thats why anyone who upholds that kingdom on the earth, are a main target for those satanic rebels ,because the rebels have been cast down here ,they are out to make trouble for those who uphold that heavenly kingdom that Jesus is king of.

On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time."revelation 12;12

Moderators...The last few posts to this thread definitely indicate that it belongs in the Abrahamic Religions section. While the discussion of things pertaining to G-d and his/her works are spiritual in origin, we are once again burdened with specific bible references to justify the individual opinions of members.

Unless I have misunderstood something here, that is not what this section is for. In effect the posts on this thread are saying that if you do not believe as we believe, then you are going to be excluded when G-d shows up. This is an exclusionary strategy and is not inclusive in any meaning of the term.

I also object to the cojoining of the concepts of satanic and rebellion in mee's most recent post. I understand that this is a biblically-sourced concept, but in the real world history has substantively documented that change and progress is simply not possible without rebellious activities. Without this process, whole civilizations have been known to disappear. Many of us out here do not care to see that happen to ours by being coerced by a few to adhere to literal biblical principles that we simply do not believe in a literal sense.

flow....:(

I moved this to Abrahamic since the content is, well, Abrahamic. It does not seem to be inviting non-Abrahamic people to respond or incorporate general ideas about spirituality, but rather is from a specific religious viewpoint.

Now, the conversation can carry on!

Yes, I agree the Baha'i Faith is an Abrahamic religion :)

What Baha'is have in common with Jehovah's Witnesses is that we believe Christ has already returned. For Jehovah's Witnesses, that means Jesus got His throne in heaven. For Baha'is, it means Baha'u'llah came to the world. Just as Jesus said John the Baptist fulfilled the prophecy of the return of Elijah, we believe Baha'u'llah fulfilled the prophecies of the return of Christ in the glory of the Father.

Jehovah's Witnesses calculated 1914 for the return, the Baha'i Faith began in 1844, the year of the Millerite expectation.

Declared Righteous as a Friend of God

"‘Abraham put faith in Jehovah, and it was counted to him as righteousness,’ and he came to be called ‘Jehovah’s friend.’"—JAMES 2:23.

by faith Abel "had witness borne to him that he was righteous." (Hebrews 11:4)

Noah "became an heir of the righteousness that is according to faith." (Hebrews 11:7)

In spite of his failings, Job was said to be "blameless and upright." (Job 1:1, 22; 7:21)

Phinehas showed zeal for pure worship, "and it came to be counted to him as righteousness." (Psalm 106:30, 31; Numbers 25:1-13)

"By faith" and by her works of kindness toward God’s people, the non-Israelite harlot Rahab received a righteous standing, or was declared righteous.—Hebrews 11:31; James 2:25.

i would say all of these would have been GODS FRIENDS

Bahais consider Mirza Husayn-Ali to be the returned Jesus Christ? And there's a Millerite connection? Hmmm, I'll have to take a closer look at this. Being an ex SDA, the Millerite connection sparks interest. Luna said something about this once but I never got around to following up.

Carry on,

Chris

Moderator, what about the Satainists? I heard their main occupation was scaring Christians. Shouldn't they be over here with us?

No not chance... We are.... You understand how strong his love is?? I do not wish to offend, but I am not sure any of us can understand that level of love....
it is true that God loves the world of mankind so much that he sent his only-begotten son to the earth so that we can have a chance to eventually have everlasting life .

but many choose not to be Gods friend by ignoring his invitation. Gods friends are willing to go along with Gods purpose.

As an example Noah went along with Gods instructions . so did Abraham, and even the Harlot Rahab helped Gods people. and it went well with her because of that . to be a friend of God it would involve action in some way or another.

Proving Ourselves God’s Friends

“O Jehovah, who will be a guest in your tent? Who will reside in your holy mountain? He who is walking faultlessly and practicing righteousness and speaking the truth in his heart.”—Psalm 15:1, 2.

True, that some do not choose Love....

to be a friend of God it would involve action in some way or another.

Love is all I believe you need to show.... That is far better than any other action. In my opinion.
