Stupid question?

I found this out, naturally, being a chronic wind-bag. I just split XL posts into two segments. LOL;)

Moved to Feedback forum, where it is a better fit.

yep. I had this conversation today at work. Some people talk just to hear the sounds of their own voice. And yet, trying to get a conversation out of some people is like pulling teeth....... I like that saying.... (i probably have it wrong) but its about not saying anything and be thought a fool rather than speak and be proven correct....... (?) oh, you know what I mean. Ill stop babbling now.......

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.

It's a new tack to get flow back.

Dear Hackers of the World:

Please conspire to make it so that bulletin boards limit the length of posts for new members. It would be cool if new members started off with some post length limitation that grew over time as they showed interest in the forum.

Thanks sincerely,

PS. Please be good.

Those who use more words than needed to be said, are trying to sell you something. :)

*Ahem*...I resemble this remark.

Yes, I suffer from chronic long-windedness. But I can happily say I am not in the habit of trying to sell anything...for money that is. Perhaps my point of view, but I do allow the "buyer" the discretion to take it or leave it. In that sense, aren't we *all* selling something when we post here? (Some are just better salespersons?)

Snoopy? Bill 'the butcher' Cutting, is that he? That I see, upon your avatar? (kind of dark on this monitor.) I -love- Bill. Daniel Day-Lewis.... Is like Gene Wilder is to Willy Wonka... Or Johnny Depp to Captain Sparra.... No other could fit the character as good.

"At my challenge, by the ancient laws of combat, we are met at this chosen ground, to settle for good! and all! Who holds sway over the five points! us natives, born rightwise to this fine land! Or the foreign hordes defiling it."

Sometimes the price isn't money.... And the item on offer isn't physical. If you know what I mean...

Right actor, wrong film. It's from There Will Be Blood. (words can barely describe how monumentally good this film is IMO).

Gangs is on my To See List. :)
