As a Christian what are your thoughts?

Jesus with his Apostles set down one Church, one faith. And yes, the seven ecumenical councils are of great importance. It was a mission of the Early Church to dispell the heresy (but not to kill or force) that tried to challenge the Faith. You don't think the Church feels the blow of losing...

As a Christian what are your thoughts?

And the point is to stop these things after we have been washed clean, not to keep on doing it. The bad deeds were not being sanctified. I see Paul talking about wrong lifestyles and deeds and turning away from them by the grace of God. Well, I do see this in absolutes. If something is a...

As a Christian what are your thoughts?

Not "churches", the Church. God didn't set down hundreds of Churches, he set down one. Even if you are male or female, the outcome of homosexuality is sin. And if you don't accept that, it is simply denying the Word. It states it clearly as a sin in First Corinthians, and you can't get anymore...

As a Christian what are your thoughts?

Your heart is sin? Really? Well, what a newsflash that should be to the angels then. I think God created one type of sexual orientation to exist. Luke 23:56, “…And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.” There was no " oh, I don't think we're going to keep the sabbath...

As a Christian what are your thoughts?

If those two statements aren't at all different to you, then there is no difference to you between condemning a wrong-doing and condemning a person? What the hell? Those are two seperate ideas. You are part of humanity, and as humans, we have one nature. I am not condemning you personally...

Saudi Marriage 'Expert' Advises Men in 'Right Way' to Beat Their Wives

Technically they are both failing (man and woman), because if one fails, it brings the entire unit down with it. But in this narrowed context with the polygamist safety net, it is basically men failing the women they are supposed to be " caring " for. I would expect the Saudi King to care...

    Door-To-Door Missionaries

I've read their accounts. Close enough. But you know, they're probably just all fabrications created to marginalize your demographic.

Saudi Marriage 'Expert' Advises Men in 'Right Way' to Beat Their Wives

I am aware of how many countries don't have it, and how many countries have social security that doesn't work. But that's no reason not to try. The rich leaders in the Middle East could take care of their own people, could get some kind of other government system rolling so they wouldn't be...

As a Christian what are your thoughts?

I just don't agree with that. God didn't create you to sin, of course not. But if you choose to sin, that is entirely of your own agenda. Love is positive, but sex isn't necessarily. I'm not calling you " it" I'm referring to Homosexuality as " it ". Are you homosexuality? No. That...

As a Christian what are your thoughts?

Condemning a sin and judging someone are two totally different things. Just like saying " homosexuality is a sin and it is wrong " and " you are just a bad person " are two totally different things. People generally are unworthy, and we are saved through divine grace.

    Door-To-Door Missionaries

Well, historically it has been a problem-causer (maybe not for yourself personally), caused strife among the early Christians repeatedly, and has been interpreted incorrectly too much to be allowed to be read from during liturgy.

    Door-To-Door Missionaries

It's not a threat. And I haven't been there, but others have, and it's not a good alternative.

    Door-To-Door Missionaries

Hell is experiencing the presence of God as torment, instead of joy as in Heaven, it is experienced as an unquenchable fire, etc etc. Not fun. Our consciousness does not stop after death.

As a Christian what are your thoughts?

I am not refusing to recognize you as human, that is insane. I am refusing to believe that homosexuality is a natural and normal state of being. God didn't create us to sin so I cannot accept that it is natural state of things. You are blowing my statement way out of proportion. I don't...

    Door-To-Door Missionaries

Just because we don't read it during the Church service doesn't mean we don't read it at all or don't consider it to be important, no one says you shouldn't read it at all. It is in the Sacred Tradition not to read it during liturgy because it is a problem-causer.

Saudi Marriage 'Expert' Advises Men in 'Right Way' to Beat Their Wives

But that's so much more trouble that it's worth. Some kind of welfare system (as long as it isn't the US model) would eliminate this issue altogether and I don't know why these countries with the higher instances of polygamy seem to ignoring the possibility of something like that existing other...
