It's the best way to go.... I have no TV(broadcast) All films/series/shows/whatnot comes directly from the net :) Oh and tip.... To all those English gents and ladies.... Doing this means........ That's right... No TV Liscense fee ;) Although you don't have to pay that anyway.... But that is a matter for another day.
 
I love Kings. i knew right off the bat it was this story because of David SHEPHERD going up against GOLIATH.. lol was cleverly done.

I have TONS of similarites so far. I want to share.. so SPOILERS BEWARE if you havent seen it. Ok so Saul-Silas David SHEPHERD .. JESSE is the mom REV SAMUELS lol umm Grath - Gath... SHILO Im sitting at work so Im having to think ,.... Jonathan- Jack (The son) David and Goliath of course lol Him being an Orator and a musician and very pretty lol. ELI- ELIAS General ABNER -- Michelle-Michal.. How Silas-Saul received blessing to become the first King... how Silas Lost that blessing..

im sure theres tons more.. Anyone have any to add?

The full episodes are on NBC's website and its moved to Saturday now.

You are obliged to pay the licence. Having internet access is covered by it. But i wont grass you up ;):D
 
No lol I am not obliged to do jack **** mate :) I am on to their bs... I told them I think two years back now that I would no longer pay and that was that... :) BBC *spits on floor at mention of their name* and their extortion/bullying bs can kiss me arse. I was inspired by this dude that hasn't paid his liscense for 12 years he had to go through all their bs bullying letters and what not lol but they soon gave up... I however took a better approach and haven't been hassled by them since :D Again though...... a topic for another thread..

I've got wifi free in the air...three choices of blazn internet at home downloads fast enough to play movies or TV without buffering...live streaming...gotta love it...

magicjack phone service...local and long distance $120 for 5 years...

ie no cable, no satelite, no phone, no net...no bills but have it all!

life is good.


Kings... I imagine they've buried more references than we can find and are waiting for us to discover the nuance...
 
I pay £29 (I think a month) I have 20mb internet connection and wifi in my house.... No TV package or phone package (I loathe phones) Thats it.... *adds it up in his head* no where near as cheap as you :O but I bet you ain't got a 20mb connection ;) OH and that is getting doubled soon!

and to be fully honest it was too soap opery for me.

of course I couldn't keep up with heroes or lost either...

yeah its not like Tudors but omg whenBig Brother starts they play 3 hours of Live feed every night.. so Showtime MIGHT.
 
Never cared for big brother... I wonder why Kings was cancelled.... Never seen Tudors... Heh, Showtime needs to make a new series of Dexter..... And weeds... But they need to off that housewife... She bugs me. She was funny at first... But now I just want to do bad, bad things to her.... :/ In the real life drug scene... She'd of been taken out by a rival or her own side along time ago... Kings of TV series are still 'My name is Earl' and Reaper.

I still can't quite understand how this had such low ratings...... I am telling you it is Culkin.. He sealed the deal... He was the last straw!!!

.How many christians and jews are there in America! Oodles... Specially christians.....
.Ooodles of big name actors
.Ooodles of cash put in the budget for production
.Old story made modern (they are hot as **** right now!)
.Not bad writing!
.Good CGI's!!!

CONS

I just got some figures here for the premire....... *adjust glasses to the bridge of his nose and clears his throat*

Approximately 6.47 million started watching at 8pm and only 5.9 million stuck with it until the end.

That is almost 6 million freaking people..... 6, million, freaking, people....... How the hell is that low ratings???? 6 million freaking people... What do they want? The entire world watching it? I'd be stoked to **** if I made a show and 6 million people watched it... I'd be like.... "6, million, freaking people!"

I think that is unfair to cut something like that and piss of 6 million freaking people... There will be lynchings!

I expected when it said low ratings that they were gonna say like "yeah 6.47 million people tuned in at 8pm... and only Dauer stuck to it til the end..." Then I could understand them saying ah **** that.... Cut it.... But... 6..... million, freaking people man.......
 
you and I have similiar tastes..so you need to take my word for it. you need to watch the tudors. its awesome. Jonathan Rhys Meyers does an outstanding job.. well heck all of the actors do. I love history and you brits have had the craziest people in your history lol.. seriously watch it..
 
another one Ive been watching is Big Love and I think its an HBO one.. its seriously funny if you can laugh at polygamist Mormonism..
