Blame God. He made the devil too, he has a schizophrenic personality. A lot like a drunken wife beating husband... you never know what to expect...

Hmm I don’t think God has a schizophrenic personality that’s a human issue, which geniuses sometimes develop, maybe your right lol

He has a schizophrenic personality.

That's funny coming from a guy whose had a lot of "personalities" here on this forum... Whats the total so far? 3? 4? Inuk, Tao, NewDawn... any others?

He made man too, and there are alot of them drunk and beating wives...can't blame God for their behavior.

It's what I call individuality.:D
Well then I suppose Satan is just one more "individual" who knew right from wrong and chose the wrong path. He just happens to be more gifted with talents and influence than the average joe, and is persuasive in his arguments...kinda like Hitler was...

Yeah but hitler demonised other people he thought the devil was in them. To me there is no such thing as an external enemy, the only emeny is yourself.

The devil is in the details, and details are our choices after we allow ourselves to go along with what is being whispered to us, encouraging us to go the way we already wanted to go.

See Satan has no power if there is no inclination to do or think something. It's only if the seed is already in our mind, that he has a perch in our lives.

So in that sense your saying satan is us?
When we take the wishes of another and do their bidding, we in effect become an extension of them, do we not? Be become a team effort (however unbalanced).

Case in point: Al Capone was at the distric Attorney's office in Miami, FL., on the day his men carried out the St. Valentine's massacre in Chicago, IL. But Capone was the one who gave the order, while his men carried it out.

Capone got the results he wanted, yet he never pulled the trigger, and it couldn't be proven that he ordered the execution.

The gang members that carried out the order however, went to extremes, firing 200 rounds into seven men. That was their choice.

Who was worse, Capone, or his gang that carried out the order?

I would have to say they were all as bad as each other.

No doubt, but the master mind was Capone. And he found willing people to do his bidding. While he remained ingonito and blameless (in his mind, and by law), his men took the fall.

Ah, quite interesting.

Namaste Tao, may we reason this one out?

Let's see you, an atheist? Who doesn't believe in G!d, believes that this fictitious character that he doesn't beleive in built anothe fictitious character that he doesn't believe in, and this fictitious character that he doesn't beleive in he has anthropomorhized to having human illnesses, and is addicted to alchohol and marries and beats his human wife?

So if an atheist, why would you contemplate the nonexistent creating the nonexistent?

Um, angry agnostic? That would make sense.

I can see your analogy now.

So your saying in the same way the devil trys to influence us.. I see your point but metaphysically speaking what is the source of the devil, is it an entity or a manifestation of a lack of control of our emotions? Christians even till today use exorcists, they claim demons can be inside you, mother Teresa had one when she had insomnia.. shes been ascribed to miracles which I personally believe were true ones bought on by her. But for the exorcism come on.

Er, do you mean schizophrenia or do you mean multiple personality disorder? ;)

As for the poll, I vote Keyser Söze!
