i went to see a a real live guru this weekend, it was interesting

Life is a guru.

Guru is an idea. A person that is a true guru will make you think that they are a fool until they are gone. Then you wish they weren't gone and are glad for the time you knew them. It pays to be kind to those who you think are idiots. Pehaps unintentionally, Yoda from Star Wars is a caratature of this. When he meets Luke Skywalker, he feigns madness to test the knight and to humble him a bit.
