Snoopy Zen

Avi l have no idea about such things..I think each lives in different continents. has snoop disappeared for a while before?

Hey there DrumR, for some reason, your style reminds a little of a poster that used to "snoop" around here. Any relation ?? :D

Thank you for the favor of an enquiry, Avi, and many thanks for placing such a high estimation of my lowly status:eek: in the the same realm as His Snoopy-ness, But...

I am of the Tao (in my own hap-hazard fashion), HE is of the Zen, although we both are of the Tea.:)

I pm’d one or two people because I didn’t want to make any public announcement. But perhaps as an old timer I should have. So here goes…

There are several reasons why I think my time here may be done (at least for the foreseeable). The primary one is a family health matter. This has meant my priorities and time needed re-focusing.

Regarding this forum…

I don’t feel I have anything worthwhile to contribute right now, if I ever did. I will still like to read the contributions of a few folk (hopefully you know who you are!) when I have the time and inclination. May pm occasionally too…see how things go.

I have to say I prefer a supportive and positive environment for discussions of religious practice and I’m afraid I see a lot of negative stuff on here. But hey, it’s not my forum. And on that note, Kung Fu to you Brian. :)

Snoopy.

Sincerely sorry to hear about the issues you have to deal with at present, Snoopy - hope these work out in some way.

Certainly life is made of meetings and partings, and everyone moves on from one place eventually. You've certainly brought a lot to IO, and it would certainly be a privilege if, sometime in the future, you would consider visiting again, and making auld acquaintance. :)

snoop de loop! you've always had a worthwhile contribution to make [a voice] that l will miss anyways; hope it all goes well at home:)

snoopy, here's to hoping your family health matter improves and will miss you. earl

Farewell Snoopy..I will miss you so much. I have really enjoyed your contribution here and so appreciate your several words of encouragement to me. I agree that there has been too much sniping lately but I think that Brian is trying his best to redirect those who have followed that rabbit trail. Not an easy task to herd cats, ya know what I mean Phyllis? ;)

Don't know that I'll totally part company like Snoopy. But been thinking that it may have gotten a tad on the wearisome side here for me to continue posting. Even without extreme sarcasm or sniping, to know that any time something of a spiritual or religious or non-conventional, (i.e. non-materialist), nature is posted, it will meet with an immediate attempt to debunk it, is starting to make me rethink whether it's worth posting at all. So, at the very least, time for me to give it a rest as some of the other long-time, non-materialist posters here seem to have done. earl

I am sorry to hear this Earl. I have missed you but I know that you have had health issues so you haven't posted much in the past year. I always enjoyed your thoughts on God and we both are fans of Neil Douglas-Klotz. :)
