That's a really good point. It certainly is a completely different thing. How can it be identified as Christian? Also, the web site for Rev. Moon expresses equal claim to Islam and other religions. Its like Unificationist Church wants to be a member of them all, and that does not seem workable from the standpoint of any one.

Rev Moon states that God has reached people of diverse cultures and at different times through the main religions.

He stated that Christianity, alone among all religions, revealed God as a personal God. The early Christians called God "Father". Becoming free and able to call God father was a great religious discovery. Christianity serves as the global religion that can unite the world.
Some religions instruct in social ethics and morality and others teach about the infinite spirit world. Christianity is a religion of heart. Through the fall human beings lost God anf forgot that God is our father. We lost our original parents (A&E)

His physical body dies but his spiritual body is alive. I have not done some serious research on the subject but I have heard that parents still should connect to their child artistically and send nurturing love to that child. I also heard the angels take care of them and that they do grow spiritually.
I have also heard that if someone dies in an accident, people on earth keep remembering that person's body at the time of the accident for ever when they are of course not there at that place where the accident took place.

As I said, this has not been a focus for me. May be somebody has researched this more

When Rev Moon went to preach in North Korea, he was not able to come back due to the Korean war. He spent almost 3 years doing forced labor in a prision camp and was liberated by the US forces just before he was schedule to be executed. Meanwhile his wife had a very hard time to support him in his difficult mission and left him.

So when one gets divorced, or one leaves their wife, or their wife leaves them, what implications does this have in the heavenly spouse scheme of things?

Since our union is not only physical but spiritual, it has many implications.
Conjugal Love creates life and life creates lineage.
Divorce has serious effects on children and creates complications for our lineage. It needs to be restored by our descendants.

Between us and our descendants, we are a continuous family if you will. The quality and purity of our lineage depends on each link. Broken links damage the lineage.

If it is possible, it is better if we can reunite wih our spouse. Different spouses means different lineages.

When people sleep around they have no idea of the serious spiritual consequences on the purity of their lineage.

Now, we should be aware that since the human fall, God is working to establish his lineage on earth. We are born from Satan fallen lineage.

This is the main mission of the Messiah. When God can have His lineage on earth completely separated from the fall, humanity will be able to connect to it, not just symbolically as Christians can experience at church when they drink the wine and eat the bread.

In this concept of going to heaven with your spouse, what affect is multiple spouses or divorce?

Now as to the children and the effects of divorce, these are well known, I've strived since my separation to insure whatever this effect is is minimized, strived to assist in their growth to be compassionate, knowledgeable adults that think for themsleves. But that is this physical life, I'd like to hear what your beliefs say the implications for them in the hereafter are.

Face it with 50% of marriages ending in divorce and 80% of divorcees remarrying and we've got half sistersn and brothers and multiple lineages everywhere... (and many of which who have created many more multiple lineages)

The implications on your children depend a lot on how they live their own life. As descendants we inherite from our lineage not only the physical traits but also the spiritual traits. As a descendant, we are challenged to overcome the temptations that our ancestors could not overcome in order for us to restore them.
All the good deeds that your children do will benefit not only themelves but their ancestry.
Just remember that when the Messiah returns and is able to start God's lineage at last people will be able to connect to it.
This is the hope for everyone, including our ancestors to have descendants be born from God's lineage.
All the saints in the past have been waiting for that moment.

Forget about life on earth here and now, I am fully aware of divorce and remarriage implications.

You've made specific statements about what is required in heaven with spouses etc.

Speak to your belief on the hereafter regarding divorces, remarriages, extra spouses, multiple lineages etc.


Which wife/husband will be your spiritual wife/husband...you said earlier you choose....which you chooses, the wife or the husband or both...?

It is impossible to answer. Is she remarried ? do you still love her ? Is she religious and has strong faith in God ? etc...etc. It is complicated
Did you see the movie "What dreams may come". In this movie Robin Williams' wife commits suicide and goes to the lowest part of the spirit world. Her loves her so much that when he dies, he goes to the depth of hell to find her and liberate her.
This is a great movie to watch in case you deed not see it.
I can understand that you have a lot on your mind. There is always hope if we put God first.
