I started a TV series community group. But it isn't doing well at all.. And I personally hold YOU responsible for this.

So, I thought I would try and do what we has done with the Movies, make an entire thread to discuss things in it :/ SO! Old series, New series.... Shut down series... Any series. :D

I am currently on Season 2 of the X-files :D Downloaded Nine seasons of it, and enjoying it very much.... Anyway...... Not much to say right now... Just wanted to start a thread up. *nods*
 
I like the police kind of series, ya know.... Law and Order, CSI,NCIS, Cops....
but also i love good comedys. and stupid ones, I have probably told you this before but there use to be a show years ago in Oz called, "kingswood country". It is totally ridiculous, politically incorrect, but it coined alot of phrases ..eg "pickle me grandmother!!' (I guess if you arent aussies,you dont get it!) but to a small degree it is what australia was like when i was growing up. You see, we have to laugh at ourselves, we dont take ourselves too seriously , so if you do get a chance to see it, dont get too offended, cos it offends everybody equally. LOL.
 
If you love Dexter.. watch Breaking Bad its only had one season so far but its good.. Another really really good one is The Shield.. its over now but it was 7 or 8 seasons of freakin awesomeness with a shocking ending.

and omg what a crazy ending to Dexter last season???!!!???

Big bang theory is a sitcom, 4 nerds and a cute airhead girl...the writing is hilarious and poignent. Past couple of episodes have been arguing Christmas vs. Saturnalia...such fun.

Once you get all the characters...your sides will hurt.

I love Dexter!! John Lithgow was sooo good as the Trinity Serial killer..he should win awards for that one. The ending was very shocking..I can't wait until next season. I love Showtime's TV series..Weeds is another favorite..the Tudors; Nurse Jackie and the United States of Tara. Good stuff..

The Shield was also a gritty cop show..sometimes over the top but still great acting, directing and soundtrack.

I agree on John Lithgow doing an incredible job on his part. He scared the crap out of me and I totally forgot that he ever played anything like the dad in Harry and the Hendersons. Im so sad about the ending though because I thought the lady that played Rita was fantastic.. but Im thinking she might continue on and play in his "memories" like the adopted father.

I also love all the showtime shows.. The United States of Tara and Nurse Jackie were instant favorites.. they were hilarious The Tudors Ive already rewatched all the seasons twice and cant wait for the next one.

Grey.. I also watch Ghosthunters lol ghosts freak me out and that show freaks me out in a big way. Im not too keen on the whole academy thing though.. I got bored quick.

wil.. I LOVE Sons of Anarchy too thats high on my list with Dexter. FX also makes fantastic shows.

If you cant tell my DVR is always full ... lol.
 
I don't get showtime or HBO...but I do find it amazing how the networks are really dropping the ball on TV serieses and how the cable channels are just producing incredible shows.

Now you all can call me some wuss or something but I also liked Joan of Arcadia and Touched by an Angel...and even the short lasted Chicken Soup shorts... there is a need for feel good shows out there as well...

of course hold-em, Ninja Warrior and MMA can keep me entertained too.

Sons of Anarchy..... lol the anarchists formed a group? How quaint lol. I'll have to look into this one never heard of it.

FS:: Dexter was an awesome series, I love the representation of cycles. I am really needing to find 'Darkly dreaming Dexter' (the books) in an audio version.

Almost on season 3 of X-files, enjoying them :D

I always wanted to see that thank you for reminding me..... Wait... They ended it? Like... There was an ending and it upset you? OR An ending like 4400/Kings, where they say "yeah ok bored with this now going to just.... stop."

Xena lol I loved it got all the series :D You ever watch Hercules (the legendary journeys) Just like Xena... (and legend of the seeker to boot) It was filmed in New Zealand in the same areas... Like Xena... It had that... "level" of acting I just love lol. Was like a sister/brother act those two series.
