This is strange...but here goes.

I'm shaz from sunny England.I'm 25 n obviously have lotsa time on my hands.
 
I'm going through a rough time with my faith.I was born n brought up as a Muslim.I love my faith but I wana know about others so I may find myself n mayb a little contentment in my life.this looks like a good place to get me in gear...
 
Welcome Shazni, may looking deeply into other faiths and ideas deepen your appreciation and understanding of your own.
 
Well the Unity of God n worship of the One God.its just how to go about it.that's what am struggling with.
 
In every religion there's all the do's and don'ts.some I can comply with.others I find very difficult.I don't wana feel like a bad person for not being able to follow to the letter.I try.

There are good rules and there are bad rules. Just because a rule is written in a book doesn't mean it came from God. Which rules are you struggling with?
 
Well I'll give u an example...I like nice things,its hard not to.but I also give to charity.how can being charitable n being materialistic co-exist?! I can't find a balance cos I don't think they're on the same scale.does that make sense? (Shut up shaz u nut!)

How could you give to charity if you had no nice material things in the first place?

shaz appears to be struggling with the use of a space after a period.and the capitalization of the first letter in a sentence.is that a form of revolt.I don't know.

As to charity....I've really fell in love what I understand to be the Muslim concept. Give 2% of your holdings a year. Start with your family, when they are all doing well and can give...move onto your neighbors, when they are working and producing...move onto your community...as they are fed and taking care of themselves...your state...your country...your world...

There is something incredibly powerful about insuring that others are in a position to give.

--> Buy the things you need, do not be extravagant and buy other things. If you bought only the things you need, how much money would you have left over every month?

It's called I can't b bothered.n my phone has predictive self correcting text.n when it doesn't correct it I leave it....no struggle.this is not an English class.
