So which church is a cult?

they are all cults its just that some are considered legitimate and these are not considered to be cults, but they are really they are just respectable cults.

No we don't.

Arguing is a function of confirming ego, all humans do this is various ways.

Perhaps you do not do it in this way, but if you analyze your actions, you will see something you identify with strongly. There is something that you are unwilling to let go of, something you want to always be able to do. This is ego....

From this perspective I see that based on our psychology we are not only perpetually deluded but we love to argue that it is only the other that is deluded and only we defined as "us" and sometimes only as "I" is or are not deluded but of course that would be insane no? Because what if there were no "other" to be deluded?

It would seem then that we, us and I are all deluded, but still we love to argue about it don't we?
I don't juggle, I just have multiple personalities and we like to play catch. (quote from a line of a friend of mine during his routine...he went on to become one of the flying karamosov brothers)
often peoples tythes pay salaries, something that i find very uncomfortable.
why? The church has to be maintained, the bulletins have to be printed, the bills have to be paid, the preacher is there to preach...but still needs to live and eat.

The 'burnt offerings' bring us the perfect lamb for the offering....you think G!d ate that? no...the temple servants and preachers....

todays pastors are not old testament priests,

large churches can justify full time staff, but smaller churches of 20 or 30 people dont need a full time pastor living off the congregation,

Well, the way he said it made me want to be the ordinary, the mundane...the cozy tea for a rainy afternoon.
I'll be the contrast which will make the nice cup shine!
