Hiya, I'm Annie!

I'm Vegan, Autistic, love animals, and am a huge bookworm and general nerd.

Since this is a religion forum, I guess I should explain myself from that perspective too. I'm so confused about my faith right now.
I love the concept of religion (and have always been hugely interested in Theology and respectful of all religions I come across) but logically I've never brought myself to believe in a God at all (atheist) or set doctrine, although I sometimes see beauty as so overwhelming that I identify it with God even though I'm not meaning a creator-type God. Like pantheism?

Anyway, today I was dragged by a friend to a Christian youth group. Everyone was so open and friendly, I've never felt so connected to other people - I cried. :)

Hi Annie, welcome to the forum from another newbie!

I have some pantheistic leanings as well.

I also experimented with veganism a few years ago so can relate. Now I do occasionally eat meat that I harvest myself (deer, wild turkey, fish) and eggs from my chickens but mostly eat a vegetable/fruit-based diet and have never felt healthier!
