I've landed here quite deliberately, despite the title of this thread. Being "lost" is, well, disorienting. I've never really had a religion and felt perfectly fine with that. I've always had my own hodge-podge beliefs, which was a cocktail of my own design that changed to my ever changing and ever growing "me-ness". Well, now, there really is no "me-ness" and if there were ever a time to have a faith with like-minded followers, it would be now. Yeah, that would be nice . Never-the-less, I find myself lost without a place to rest my weary soul . So, as I gaze at the various faiths, like millions of stars in the sky, I land my sight on some reformers.

:p Okay, I'll stop typing like that and come back out of my storytelling delirium ... I'm interested in furthering my knowledge on "reform Judaism", Sikhism, and liberal Quakers. Oh, and a community of really cool people like yourselves ;).

I'm Asiza, can't wait to meet all of you.

Welcome Asiza!
I hope that you find what you're looking for, or perhaps something you're not. Be aware, this place isn't always cool, it's what happens when you fill it with people I guess, some good with some bad.

 I have no idea what you are talking about. :D

As for Asiza, welcome, and good luck on your search for the truth.

Oh, wow! Thanks for the welcomes and interest.

Let's see now. I believe that our beliefs are either fed to us by family, culture, etc. And that they change to suit our need to either lie to ourselves or frame our view to encourage growth. That being said, mine go something like this: Spiritually, one God; multiple "heavenly" realms with odd creatures; we make our own heaven and hell within our own minds; our soul is infallible, but still at risk of being snuffed out by emotional decay..

After we die, we die. Our bodies are compost, turned to dust; our soul get reunited somehow....

Lol, A cup of tea

Thanks for all the welcomes.

D.A. ... there is no "me_ness" because I lost my sense of self. Trauma will do that to ya... and there is a "me_ness" within your worldview. It define how you fit, according to you, within the world you perceive. Even if you believe there is no "you", there you are in the world never_the_less

Can't go blaming spell check for what it was never meant to do! Those words are spelled correctly. It's a grammar checker that is needed, and most of them are not very good.

Personally I like head county. Sounds like a comic strip! Head County - The Life & Times of Asiza. How are you at drawing?

I'm not bad at drawing but my son and daughters are the comic artists. I think it would be better, 'The life and times of Asiza's notebook'!
