Skipped Heart Beats

Maybe, but what do we call it and what category does it go in?

I think it would fall under the "Lounge" category. You can call the thread whatever you'd like. From my understanding, not too many people on the forum have met one another in real life, so it might provide some interesting perspective on how your and Aussie's paths crossed. Totally up to you. I'm always curious how friendships form and are sustained over decades.

Nothing like having family around and what an enormous effort, coming all that way on your behalf! That's good medicine in and of itself.
Well, not quite the results I had hoped for yet, but then again my sis-in-law is following the instructions of a Sage that is nearly 10,000 miles away. It takes a while for the energy to catch up sometimes. Indeed, the effort is much appreciated and quite comforting all the same.

Keep us posted mate.
Well, my heart is still skipping and all the shortfalls of such are still present, but for reasons I can't fully explain, I feel much better. Of course, since my sister-in-law set up camp in the kitchen I can't find a damn thing. No matter, cooking my own meals seems to be a sin these days. :)

Happy to hear you're feeling better, NJ! Hopefully as your sister-in-law's visit continues, you'll start to see improvements in the skipping too.

Have you gained 10 pounds with your sister-in-law feeding you these last couple of weeks?

No, but it's a struggle. I can't even sleep late these days, because lunch begins on time whether or not I've finished breakfast!

Health-wise, it's been 4 days now with very minimal skipping heartbeats. Mind you, that's without any RX meds whatsoever! I'm cautiously optimistic.

Well, here we go again. After nearly 2 weeks with a relatively normal heart beat, my skips returned yesterday after some light yard work.:(

Sorry to hear that, NJ. If your sis-in-law was working miracles in the kitchen, do you have a bro-in-law to do the same for yard work and to keep those skips a distant memory?

Hopefully it'll just be a temporary setback. Meanwhile, why not see if you can get someone to contact that Sage in Fiji for a booster shot?

I wouldn't call what the sis-in-law does in the kitchen a miracle. More like a disappearing act. I can't find anything! I have someone to do the yard work. That's what started the whole thing. I hired a tree company to cut back 18 large oaks on my property. After seeing how hard those guys worked, I decided that surely I must be healthy enough to prune a few hedges. Well, I guess I should have paid more attention to the fact that those guys are less than half my age...
