Seems to make sense is this correct?

Never heard that said, but I did find this.

When mentioning the name of the deceased, it is customary to say “Alav HaShalom / עליו השלום — may he rest in peace”, or “Aleha HaShalom / עליה השלום — may she rest in peace”

Perhaps too much irony, but in her first film appearance she was the first 'kill' in Ringu (1998)

Max Osceola Jr. passed away at the tender age of 70 from complications of COVID-19.

"Who?" you ask?

He was one of the former leaders of the Seminole tribe as well as being involved in a little-known brand, Hard Rock Cafe. Here's his obituary from the Miami Herald: https://www.yahoo.com/news/former-seminole-tribe-leader-built-022757872.html https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/obituaries/article246354135.html

I would not exactly call Hard Rock Cafe a little known brand. It has some 200 properties worldwide, mostly cafes but also hotels and casinos. Annual revenue is something north of $600 million USD. Not world shaking but not trivial either. How much of that is profit is not known since the corporation is privately owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Max Osceola was a longtime member of the Tribal Council and was a key player in the acquisition of Hard Rock in 2007.

In the 1980s I worked near the Hard Rock Cafe on 57th Street in Manhattan. I passed under the 'canopy' over the entrance twice a day. This was the back half of a 1960 Cadillac. Later they were forced to take it down for some reason and replaced it with a black plastic canopy labeled Save The Cadillac. I do not know the ultimate resolution since I next worked elsewhere. The 57th street Cafe later moved to Times Square.

Long time character actress, Conchata Ferrell passed away. She's probably best known for her roll as Charlie Harper's housekeeper on the TV series "Two and a Half Men" she was 77. :(

James Randi died on Oct 20.

He was best known for challenging claims of supernatural powers. His efforts to expose Uri Geller as a sleight-of-hand stage magician rather than a psychic led to a long-standing legal feud between Geller and him.

He also was involved in founding many skeptical societies.

I'll miss him.

Randi was a very good magician, doing escape acts in public and lots of stage performances when he was younger. He was so good in his performances that he was 'accused' of really having paranormal powers, although Randi always insisted it was just tricks.

Ronald Clyde Crosby passed away from throat cancer at the tender age of 78.

"Who?" you ask?

Jerry Jeff Walker, the composer of the little-known song Mr. Bojangles and a folk-country singer-songwriter in his own right. Here's his obituary: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/jerry-jeff-walker-country-singer-125605232.html

Mr. Bojangles is not exactly a ‘little known song’ of course. It has been covered well over a hundred times.

Here is a laid back but heart felt version from David Bromberg who played with Jerry Jeff for a couple of years.

Elsa Rabinowitz passed away at the tender age of 91 of undisclosed causes.

"Who?" you ask?

Elsa Raven, whose long career included parts in Back to the Future, Titanic, Twilight Zone, The Movie, The Amityville Horror and a plethora of other parts since 1963. Here's both her obituary and her filmography: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/elsa-raven-back-future-actress-160559536.html https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0712341/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0
