Database errors

System up and running, but they'll be testing the servers from 6am-11am central time today (3/30). Said outages may occur during tests, but should be minor.
I am still having numerous Database errors and blank screens. Often I cannot get access to the the threads.

Thanks for the update. I reached out to the support guys to have them check everything. I'll let you know if they find anything. Please keep me posted if the problem persists.

Sounds like you need a case or two of potent potables imho. Just name your poison, and I'll see what the furred delegation can scrounge up for you.:D

Talked to the host last night. Seems that we've had a huge, old cache they never cleared out before. Now that it has been cleared, they promise we'll have better connectivity. Keep me posted if that's true. Thanks.

Is it to or at?

The :kitty: delegation demands to know whether to approach you with their patented ministrations or "stand down".

Definitely at far too often. I've lost count of the number of different people I've spoken with. The turnover at the hosting company is terrible.

That said, I will never ask the delegation to stand down. :)

Forum has been quite slow to load this weekend and today. Lots of page refreshes required to navigate and a few JavaScrip Console error messages. Past couple months prior everything was working fine.

Noted and reported.

Anyone else experience a sudden uptick in connectivity/navigation issues? Thanks.

Hey Steve, Aussie says after logging in whatever link he clicks just leads back to the start page.
That's a new one to me. Report filed with customer service. They've said they've heard of similar problems on other Xenforo sites and that it is usually related to a DNS error. They'll 'work on it right fast.' I don't think they do anything 'right' let alone 'fast.' Please keep me posted.

Any problems for you since the internet upgrade via your neighbor?

Not for me, but the back door connection Aussie was using to get on line was lost in the process. He's dialing directly into my home network for now. That's far from perfect, but this is the only site he's had any real trouble with.

Who said there's no such thing as miracles?
Speaking of miracles. I had occasion to call Microsoft Tech Support last week. Minor glitch had me stumped. Nothing to do with the forum. Anyway, I got through to a live person, in India of course, in less than 3 minutes who solved my problem in less than 5! Something strange going on these days Steve. Be afraid. Be very afraid!

The site was down for quite a while earlier today (long enough for me to run a few errands and to do my PT exercises for my arms.) I was signed in at the time.

Speaking of the law of averages, I hit a hiccup the other day. Was writing a post on a thread and the site suddenly told me I did not have the authorization to post. Did the same thing the next day. So I just deleted what I had written and wrote something else and it went through fine.

Other than the fact that the Internet gods did not like my first post, I'm not sure what was up with that.

That happen once in a while. Something to do with the draft saver timing out I think. I got a message saying I wasn't authorized to logout once.

Reports filed with the host. Any problems yesterday for anyone?
