Have you ever said something or posted something that left you wondering a moment later, "Why did I say that?" Why does this happen? My grandmother, a rather superstitious woman, believed it was the product of divine or demonic influence. What's your opinion? Unconscious thought? An unseen force working through us? or...???

I'm the exact opposite of DA....the words simply flow from my fingers...I rarely edit, or filter...

so when I get a little off kilter tis no longer my higher self working but id...or irritated ego..

A lapse of the tongue, of the mind or of the finger. Lucky we are that, here, we can edit or delete the whole thing.

Well, according to the Bible, God has on occasion put words into the mouths of various folks to deliver his message. Beyond that, I think most of what people say is a bit sugar coated at times to protect feelings and such. Sometimes though, a bloke just blurts out what he's thinking rather than saying what's appropriate.

I own my words, they are mine whether carefully thought out or blurted.
