Ah, I see, so your typology has three basic types then, correct?Somewhere in the middle I suspect. I had a Buddhist girlfriend in my younger days who believed in Jesus.

Nah, it's $5 word day!Wow, is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?
In my view, very few of us have not experienced God.
No hard and fast rule there. Just my way of looking at things.Ah, I see, so your typology has three basic types then, correct?
Of course, of course. I just found it so humorously fitting that the Buddha was in the middle. No hard and fast rule there. Just my way of looking at things.
In mine... unfortunately very few were aware and noticed. In my view, very few of us have not experienced God.
Indeed. In mine... unfortunately very few were aware and noticed.
Yeah, sorry about that, but there's no other word to use for that jokeNah, it's $5 word day!
Yes, there is an entire study of decision making in psychology, a very interesting area to study. Most people, however often forget that the intuitive thinking often comes complete with cognitive bias. Therefore they tend to treat each other like objects rather than people. Martin Buber talked about this as the "I-Thou" relationship rather than an "I-it" relationship.
Verily. Even in that there is substantial difference, as some people just assume we're talking about the same thing, while others are chronically thinking we're not. Take the term 'God' for instance.Intuitive dialogue must be difficult when we lack a common cultural language for the words we use.
I knew that. It's all good. You missed my attempt at humour though. No big deal.Okay, take it easy, I was just joking about old English usage, not criticizing or judging.
Humans desperately need to believe
There's something I've always been curious about and since there seems to be a number of Atheists on the forum, I thought I'd ask. Why would an Atheist join a faith based forum?
