When the Reapers Gather

I would have thought it rather egotistical of humanity to think that anything it says or does can come as a surprise to God, or offer God an experience, and most certainly the notion that God validates His existence through man speaks of a promethean self pride.
I don't know about this. In a way it seems to anthropomorphize God. Perhaps God experiences existence through the fact of existence? Like parts of one whole body.

Indeed.

Of course, and without a measure, subject to all manner of fallible error ... and again, without measure, the gods we create are also 'another one of me'. Hence the value of Traditions and their commentaries.

Simply pointing out the idea of God as one who learns by experience, falls far short of the God of Athens and/or the God of Abraham.

gods and God and the life between is what I'm alluding to. If you're gonna keep to the commentaries, then do so.

If you think that nothing matter then maybe your view would apply. I keep to the commentaries and it's quite obvious God cares, and experiences us also.

Isn't that an anthropomorphism?

As I understand it, God doesn't 'experience'. God is outside of time, movement, change, altered states, etc.

Jesus The Christ rejoiced, wept, empathsised, felt fear and suffered?

God the Father was well pleased with his beloved son. That is experience and even emotion?

God is the ALL encompassing all, which includes everything past and present and future. Made in God's image . male and female - Why are we made like we're made? Why do we feel how we feel? Why do we enjoy what we enjoy? Why do we dislike what we dislike? If made in God's image 2+2 - 1 1+1=1 38465785+9587578474748484=1

There may be degrees of ascension towards the ever unreachable summit?

EDIT
Christ as the bridge between man and God.

Maybe, as a spirit connection I'd say it's pretty good and effective between worlds. Also, an equal in the descend ascend type of increase. I think things get better regardless, unless of course we just refuse every lesson we learn as we go. Like: "I just know I can enjoy ghost peppers if I just keep forcing myself" mindset … It's crazy. I can't force myself to enjoy the sweetness of a ripened fruit, I already and quite naturally enjoy it. You know?

Yes. But to me the ascension is going to be of spirit, not of nature. Nature is always going to end in death and there it is. Spirit is eternal. Spirit is always pervading and weaving in nature?

I view it like when we put away our garden corn. We pull the corn from the stalks, separate the corn from the husk, then discard the husk and preserve the corn. In some ways, the fires refine the corn, ripen the corn, sweeten the corn … like alchemy of the spirit, turning one form from glory to glory until time for harvest … until it's time for the reapers to gather.

Another way to help articulate the way life operates. The same is true for humans. We are being prepared for something … well, for what I can't exactly say, but it might have something to do with a meal and the circle of life, which is pretty much common sense, or would it be uncommon sense … err … Ummm …. When a person finds comfort in that view?

To be perfectly honest, I have found immense pleasure in the whole two souls becoming one thing, so no ... I don't fear the reaper.

A better example of the gatherers/angels, with respect to tossing the chaff/tares/wicked/lawless into the furnace of fire, would be with respect to Matthew 7 & 13. The lawless make their own morality, and scoff at any law coming from God, and proudly strut their own self proscribed virtues. In the end, they miss the boat, and remain in their own hell before the reapers even pluck them out, which will proceed the gathering of the elect/good seed (Matthew 13:30).

I think God experiences his own being through creation. We have free will. All creation is returning eventually to The creator. It's nothing simple cut and dried and binary, imo. Scriptures are maps.

The co-ordinates and lines of latitude and longitude and elevation and so on, all the various symbols -- they are indicators.

I don't know ...

It is nice around here, in spite of repeated attempts by God to torture us, now with Corona. It is not a hell. And I am not waiting for any boat. No reaper can extinguish me, I am eternal, Newton's law. What constitutes me will be around (in some form or other).

You surely shall be around until you die and are either cremated buried or eaten. At that time your earthly presence will only be beneficial to the plants and animals as a source nutrients. As for Newton's law, well Newton was a believer of Scriptures, and wrote more on them than he did on science, and used them as a starting point for his view into science. His basic law was for every force there was an equal and opposite force. This law applies to good and evil as well. To experience good, one has to have a comparable evil force to compare with. The new heaven and earth will be built on a new law, whereas your living in hell on earth will be done away with, for the evil doers will be swept away in a consuming fire.

Perhaps this is a natural observation, and a logical observation from our place as natural beings doomed to physical death and subject to gravity and time?

The book of nature gives us some knowledge of the phenomenon of light and darkness: where darkness is the lack of light but not its opposite.

There is no light whatsoever in the depths of the earth at the bottom of a cave. It is totality of darkness. But one candle brings light and shadows must retreat. More candles bring more light, and there's no upper limit to light -- there is the light of the sun and the light of 10 million suns, and still there is no limit?

Absolute zero would be the absolute lack of any heat whatsoever, but in the same way -- cold is not the opposite of heat but is the lack of heat, to which there is no upper limit?

So perhaps it's just that we as natural beings are only able to cognate what we perceive within the 'vibrational dimension' of our natural senses?

Perhaps in the ultimate sense evil (devil)-- is really the absence or shading/ blocking out of Good (God)?

True opposites do seem to exist in nature: we understand fire and water as opposites. But in a sense it is down to our natural perception as natural beings? In the greater scheme of things fire and water are not really binary opposites but molecular states.

It is Plato's cave: we see the shadows on the wall and to us that is all there is, until the true reality of what causes the shadows is revealed. It is "through a glass darkly'' as St Paul expressed it?

Spirit is 'weaving' nature all the time?

Frothing at your mouth? Am I evil? Do you frighten me?
NO, I am a strong atheist.

Probably: if it means that the reason I loathe and despise shallow social media and prefer sites like this one, is that here I talk in person with thoughtful others, instead of being flooded with memes and videos

Like social media, this site can ban or cut off anything and anyone a moderator subjectively feels does not follow their point of view. Much like the example of Constantine and his Roman churches banning and burning of books. Much like was done by the Roman Mussolini's black shirts or the Fuhrer (Caesar) Hitler's brown shirts at a time of Hitler's 3rd Reich (Roman empire). The brown shirts and black shirts of today now have new names, and new sponsors, but act under the same spirits of (Revelation 19:20). What you consider thoughtful, might just be anyone who agrees with your point of view.

You along with Corbet, seem to be off topic. I simply tried to reign in Corbet back to the topic. The topic is the "reapers", which follow the two witnesses saying "repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand" (Matthew 3:3), which is when the "Word of God" rules (Revelation 19), which of course follows the 10 horns of the 8th head of the beast being crushed. We are in the era of the 10 horns, two of whom were recent Roman rulers, the emperor Mussolini, and the Fuhrer (Roman Caesar), Hitler, who were part of those who "wear down the saints" (Daniel 7:25), and the "lamb" (Revelation 17:14), by virtue of their part of the Roman presence which is tied to the Roman church. They, like the fascist of today, muzzled free speech, and limit it to where their bias self serving impulses lead. Your input based on your impulses, based on apparent personal indoctrination, has no basis, and no standing in a thoughtful dialogue, in spite of what Corbet might declare.
