My point, really, is that the cost of energy is increasing and more than likely will change our way of life,
whether we like it or not. Humans have embraced the oil-age with enthusiasm and enjoyment, but it is
not sustainable.

I don't know were you live, but my electricity is $0.12/Kwh, and my total recent charge was $43, for which $12 was for the hook up fee, or around $28 directly for consumption, for a 1000 sf household. The energy price is kept down by having coal, water, gas, and nuclear in combination. The increase use of plentiful gas has reduced the price to $.40/ccf, or a natural gas cost in the fall to heat house and heat water was $5.66 for the gas, and delivery, taxes, constituting the rest for a single family household. The winter consumption can increase by 6 fold, but is relatively cheap, and has been on a downward path. The US is now energy independent, and Carbon Dioxide emission reductions have surpassed the rest of the world. On the other hand, China didn't have to radically increase mask use for Covid, for they used masks in places like Beijing for every day use to just breath. While oil and gas may have a potential decrease in supply, solar and wind is very problematic in my area. While I have solar for emergency charging of batteries, those batteries are below usable levels at this time due to cloudy conditions.
There may be other alternate paths, but solar and wind have limited use unless combined with better reservoirs, such as production of hydrogen, which has its own problems. Any real substitute hasn't reached main stream production, or it is in the head of some unborn fetus. Now as far as "Reapers", the killing of that fetus will certainly bring down the wrath of God, and put an end to your potential energy solution. During the Har-Magedon, there probably will not be any infrastructure to provide common source energy, and as stated in Matthew 24:20, winter could become a major problem. Being as I have independent solar, and a timber yard, with a good quantity of cord wood, loss of common energy sources becomes an inconvenience, but not an end to life.

I feel sure we will .. it has all been unfolding for many years now .. WWIII can't be far off.
US .. the middle east .. China .. climate change .. disease .. tension is rising.

However, your detailed analysis is mainly speculation .. we will see eventually who is righteous and who is not.
The apparent truth or hypocracy of people's actions in the world is only known by Almighty God. He alone knows which hearts are sincere.

Trump is not gone yet. Around 12,000 righteous airborne troops are heading to Washington DC. this week. The Arizona Senate is looking at an audit for their votes in the past election. Should that flip Arizona, there are 16 other states with similar problems which include down stream candidates. Keep in mind, should the Chinese, Iranian, Italy, etc., links become apparent, then you are looking at the insurrection act being implemented. All the corrupt in Washington will be assembled in one place. A good place to start making arrests.

As for WWIII, such as a type of Har-Magedon/coming of reapers, if one repents, then the temperature in the furnace can be turned down. Iran and China are clapping at Biden being supposedly elected. With a Biden presidency, China can start colonizing Southeast Asia, starting with the Philippines, then going on to Australia, then Vietnam, Taiwan, Japan, and then possibly taking on India. That might make the Marxist happy, but then China and it's new colonies and Iran can turn on the weakened US. An alternate solution would be for the US airborne troops arresting the swamp in DC, and then trying to ameliorate the coming economic collapse, coming whether Trump or sleep Biden is in office. If one change course, such as repents, then the coming wrath of God can be ameliorated. Most of state legislatures are in Republican hands, and they can legally audit the elections. The problem is the Rhinos within the state, such as Cindy McCain, who is being censured by the Arizona Republicans, facilitating an audit to proceed, which can result in down ballet results being changed, flipping the US Senate. That could mitigate the wrath of the incoming reapers.

Well, Matthew 27:9-10 quotes Zechariah 11:12-13 with regards to Judas (Matthew 27:3-4).

The account in Matthew of Judas' betrayal, his subsequent remorse and his death is a narrative constructed to show the fulfilment of Jewish prophecy, as a means of demonstrating Jesus is the Messiah. Thus Matthew adds details such as the thirty pieces of silver and Judas' suicide, probably building on earlier oral tradition about Judas's death.

Matthew's description of the fulfilment of a prophecy "spoken through Jeremiah the prophet" (v9) has caused difficulties since it does not clearly correspond to any known version of Jeremiah, but does refer to Zechariah (the thirty pieces of silver).

Later scholarship has suggested that Matthew indeed had a passage from Jeremiah in mind, chapters 18:1-4 and 19:1-13.

So Matthew took from Zechariah and Jeremiah to build a narrative. Jeremiah speaks of a potter (18:9), a purchase (19:1), the Valley of Hinnom where the Field of Blood is traditionally located (19:2), "innocent blood" (19:4) and the renaming of a place for burial (19:6, 11). Thus Matthew blends early source materials with Jeremiah's buying a field and placing the deed in a pot, with Zechariah's 30 pieces of silver in the temple and the purchase of the Potter's Field.

(Acts tells a different story, but some clever footwork can reasonably align the two.)

As for "shepherds", all the apostles were to shepherd the sheep...

But in Scripture there is but one shepherd.

As yet I see no correspondence between the worthless shepherd and Peter.

be a very large shortfall which will, as usual, effect those on lower incomes.

This scenario is on a par with the timescale of climate change. i.e. it will happen within the next few decades

The US is at a point of realignment. The traditional rural conservatives won the last election against the elites, such as the media, big tech, rhinos, academia, and the progressives. While the Democrats have a history of cooperative ballot stuffing, they upped their game in this last election, and were determined to win at all costs. Unfortunately for the elites, their cities are on a 3 day clock of delivery on demand resources, which will result in their quick doom once things go to hell. The constitutional framers allowed the rural deplorables the ability to be armed to fight enemies both domestic or foreign, and Thomas Jefferson encouraged farming, whereas the rural deplorables can produce and store their own food. The elites can call on their army of Marxist to eat their own flesh by rioting and looting their own back yard, but they haven't a chance in a self sufficient rural America. The New World Order "world" is not looking good for those who want to ride the dragon (China), although the US printing of money is keeping the illusion going in the short term. The few countries which will crawl out of the disaster, are those turning from the Chinese global model to a more nationalistic self preservation mode.

The elites think they are winning because they own the media and can propagate their false narratives. The source of news can be realigned with some effort. The rhinos can be generally purged in the next election. The left tends to eat its own, and when the cities crash, they will eat each other. The US was a nation looked up to by other countries because of its liberties, such as free speech, and free association which freedoms are now under attack. Even India, Turkey, Germany, etc. are condemning the curtailing of free speech in America which continues because the Progressives think it is to their advantage. That works until it is no longer to their advantage. You have to remember, the first people that Stalin purged were his political allies. If the US can realign back to traditional conservative, God fearing values, the coming Reapers can modify the temperature of the coming burning fires. The city dweller/elites can burn their books for heat, and start eating shoe leather, but they will miss their perks. Your Hope and Change was implemented by Hussein Obama, and it was detrimental to the country and to the "world".

It is technology which is reducing energy use. I now use 9 watt LEDs for the same effect as 60 watt normal bulbs. Fuel efficient vehicles get three or more times the gas mileage as previous older models of my youth. Brushless motors are reducing the power consumption of tooling, and lithium batteries can reduce the size of infrastructure. My sawmill facility is off grid, using lithium batteries, solar, gas, and fuel efficient motors, except for a 1960 tractor which will be a problem in a grid down situation, but at a purchase cost of what you probably pay for a months rent, I will hold on to it.

Who won't be able to make it in your green scheme, based on a mostly false global warming narrative, are the developing countries, which need oil, coal, and gas to survive. Even China had to stop letting their people use coal based electricity for heating and lighting, simply because they wanted to put pressure on Australia by not buying their clean coal. China's elite thought they could make some money by building the largest hydro electric dam in the world. That dam is cracking, and is only built for a mid 6 point earthquake, whereas analysis for that area is deemed to be a likely earthquake, brought on by the weight of the water behind the dam, would be in the 7 point range.

People jump when they don't know were they are going to land. The restrictive information propagation in China leads to these kind of ultimate disasters. China is now looking at food shortages because of the water they had to let out of their dam to keep it from failing. The elites of the US can lead the uniformed down the path to destruction by means of their fake media, which tries and muzzle traditional conservative media. They can't compete on level ground, so they have to undermine conservative media through political and technical means. It won't end well for the elites, as the "reapers" are looking on.

I don't know what "Scripture you are talking about". A prime example from Jeremiah 23:1-3 is "Woe to the shepherds (plural) who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture! ....You have scattered My flock ... and have not attended to them; behold I am about to attend to you for the evil of your deeds" ... I shall also raise up shepherds over them...I will raise up David.. And he will reign as king.. and do justice and righteousness in the land. Then they will live on their own soil". The same reference can be had in Ezekiel 36-37.

The reason Yeshua called Peter "Satan" and a "stumbling block to me", was because Yeshua's testimony is the spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10). Peter through his supposed heir, the pope, who considers himself "Christ on earth", is a stumbling block. Through the supposed power of the pope, the kings of Europe (Roman empire), were all crowned by the pope, supposedly giving them their power by mean of his supposedly heavenly powers. The same powers used to burn a follower of Nicolaus Copernicus, Bruno, for espousing that the sun was the center of our solar system, as it supposedly undermined their heavenly understanding and powers. The church has no understanding nor do they have any heavenly powers. Their powers are all earthly based and quickly coming to an end. (Revelation 18:21)

The author of Matthew 27:9-11 quoted from Zechariah 11 with respect to Judas Iscariot. The editors of the NT, the Roman church, most likely revised the actual reference to one which hides who the 3 shepherds actually were. The Jeremiah reference is a red herring. Another related quote is from Hosea 3, whereas Hosea was to buy an adulteress, which represents the gentiles, for the value of 30 shekels of silver, which translates to 15 shekels of silver and a homer and a half of barley, and was to keep her for "many days". Well, those "many days" are quickly coming to a conclusion, whereas the "sons of Israel" will return to "the Lord their God, and David their king".

As for Jeremiah 18:1-4, it is with respect to the "house of Israel", and warns about repentance or they will be replaced with another pot, or in the instance of Hosea 3, an adulterous, the gentiles, who left their own gods, and attached themselves to Hosea for "many days", for the price of 30 pieces of silver. Apparently today, the gentiles are returning to the worship of their god, the devil, and you can find his temple in New York, the "Satanic Temple of New York". As for Jeremiah 19, it is more focused on Judah, and their worship to Baal, whereas they burn their sons in fire, much like fetuses are burned in basement furnaces today. The result was to be their desolation.
