but as God has created mankind and we are capable of evil, then that does not change anything.
One can argue that HUMANS have not been "purified". We are all capable of evil.

That has all now been explained in detail.

Baha'u'llah has explained that we are created at the end of darkness and the Beginning of Light. The Light is the potential within us.

The Light is the Manifestations and the potential is choice in Spirit. For us to overcome the evil, or animal tenancies and choose to become spiritual beings.

Large fascinating topic and always happy to discuss, there is no need to argue. I am happy to agree to disagree, or with discussions we can learn things we are yet to consider, I see that is the better path.

Exactly, and that verse is found in the OT where we also find that eating pig-meat is forbidden.

It is much like Adam conjecturing about why "the apple in the garden" is no longer forbidden
to him. Your earlier reply says that God has purified His creation, so it's now OK to eat pork.
An irrational reason. There is evil in the world!

Pigs are not vegetarian. They eat all sorts of things. They are kept in captivity by
mankind, and treated like a cheap source of food.

In modern times, there are many factories worldwide.

The toxins emitted by the swine CAFOs [factories] can produce a variety of symptoms and illnesses ranging from respiratory disorders, headaches, and shortness of breath to hydrogen sulfide poisoning, bronchitis, and asthma.

It would not be surprising if the latest covid virus has its origins in pig-factories. It is
China's main meat. They consume more pig-meat per capita than US consumes beef.
Furthermore, China's pig production was crippled by disease in 2019,
and they had to import huge quantities from abroad.

You're pushing the envelope. This is an international website with members all over the world, of many different faiths and beliefs.

Why can't you be satisfied with your own belief? Why do you have to try to force it upon everybody else?
