They're ok, along the bottom but there's no need for them really? They should not be allowed to interfere with the simplicity of the main part of page, imo

If it's a fade in and out from the main image, that would be different?

Really appreciate @wil joining in to help us. Thanks wil. It would be good if others did too ;)

RJM and @wil, I was able to decolorise the image marquee quite easily; and it looks beautiful, much better than it was with color. It will take some time to put it on internet or I will send you the .zip file (which does not require the help of tiiny.site) to come on Internet. Just unzip it and click on New.html. But here is a screenshot for you to savor. The image marquee still does not come on mobile.

That looks beautiful indeed!

It could go on tinii too, for members to view?

Here is the .zip file, RJM. Tiiny.site is playing games with us (perhaps they want us to pay up). They repeatedly say that the site is not available. I will try once again, otherwise I will load it on any other site. Check if some white lines show up in the image marquee in Chrome, if so let me know. They do not show up on Firefox and MS Edge. The marquee must be absolutely transparent. I am not satisfied with anything less than perfection. It works on mobile phone.

I'm not getting any images or spacing on that file on Chrome, including (not getting) the bottom moving images. Could you send a working file folder with a completely new name, not final? No urgency. Then I can ditch all the others

If it looks like the screenshot, I would have no more to add, though others may have comments?
Great job :)

Not just cricket, it happens in many fields, but spare my old bones. :D
Thanks to you for encouraging me and to RJM to have borne me all this long.
RJM, remove all old files. I did it today.

You are right. @RJM , The HTML from zip file does not show image marquee, but the spacing is OK. The file that I have on my computer shows everything OK. I am sending to you a corrected .zip file (Inter.zip) after checking it on my computer. That should work

Can you tell me what marquee means?

Also when I see screenshots there is a red band above...I do not see that when I go to the page.

Oh now I see...the red bar is a background of your browser and not the fires of he'll trying to sneak in!

Is it cricket? Is that not a euphemism similar to "Is it kosher/are we ready/all good?

It is kosher on my computer, the red devil, since I am an atheist. But it does not appear on your computer because you are protected by Allah.
Marquee: Awning, canopy, signboard, tent (Dictionary.com)
Marquee (computers): The <marquee> HTML element is used to insert a scrolling area of text (Aup. adds: or images). You can control what happens when the text reaches the edges of its content area using its attributes.
Let me check as to how I can better control the attributes of marquees.
@RJM, does the recent .zip file work correctly? I will update 'Recent topic discussions'.

The file you posted yesterday does not work for me on Chrome. There are no images and the spacing is wrong. I haven't seen any more files posted here since that one

Tell me of your experience.
That's working well on Chrome full screen. Looks great. And the icons at the bottom are scrolling across slower now.

However the icons are not appearing on my phone screen:

Nice to read that. I do not think there is any way you can reduce the height of the page on mobile. If that is done, the marquee will start appearing, check with the horizontal position rather than a vertical position of the phone. I corrected the problem with the marquee image (five of the images had white lines at the bottom). Do I have anything more to do? Yes I have to remove about 10 px space at the beginning of the image marquee. I will do that. I have to fix the page height problem which will enable the marquee to appear. Perhaps making the page height a little less will solve the problem. The problem is that the marquee is not responsive (does not reduce in size on mobile). Perhaps I should use the w3css method which has a longer code. Let me know about that. In horizontal position, perhaps the text marquee also will not brake into two lines. Like this:
