God is very forgiving!

It's not pathetic.
Christianity proclaims belief in Jesus Christ.
The meaning of Christ is messiah.

Belief in God and Jesus is far from pathetic.
Belief, overall, instills good moral values in a person, and the Catholic faith is not insincere.

"all the first Christians were Jews"
What on earth are you saying? Try explaining that to a Hasidic Jew, or a Christian . . . what you are saying is that Christianity is just an extension of Judaism. Is that what Yeshua planned? . . . Oh wait . . .is that what Yahweh planned? LOL . . . which would be just another fail by The Omniscient, Omnipresent, Overlord.
I believe we know all the first Christians were jews!

Jesus, his disciples, Paul all Jews

How can the WORD of GOD be "outgrown"?
No, you've missed the point again. It's not the Word that changes, it's our insight into the nature of the Divine.

Believe it or not, we've come a long way from a local war deity.

..the fact remains that this deity is simply a war god..
As @Thomas has already explained, what people of old thought God to be, is irrelevant.
People were on the whole, ignorant and had no formal education.
Most of us know better these days .. apart from a few, who insist satan is "the good guy"

The researcher Gareth Medway noted that in 1995 he encountered a British woman who stated that she had been a practicing Satanist during her teenage years. She had grown up in a small mining village, and had come to believe that she had psychic powers. After hearing about Satanism in some library books, she declared herself a Satanist and formulated a belief that Satan was the true god.

'We' can come as far as we can, the fact remains that this deity is simply a war god that for some bizarre reason has been accepted as the Abrahamic deity. as far as I am concerned you have all been duped.
It looks like a war god to you! And that is ok, however to to others not so much.

Take me, the non believer in any god beings takes a closer look at any ANY Bible passage where I cannot replace that word in the Bible with the word LOVE, I believe G!d is principle, not a being, but a fact, not a creator or war god but the principle that ALLOWS all creation. So if I cannot read love, I look for the parable, the allegory, the lesson contained in the story.
How can the WORD of GOD be "outgrown"? Clearly, if this is the fact then it is NOT the word of God.
indont believe it is, it is the words, ideas and thoughts of men, many men, edited by other men, and then translated into many languages by hundreds more men and thousands involved in all the versions.

However, it doesn't erase the fact that Yahweh's Platonic First Form is that of a Semitic war god.
That is not a fact. You state it as a fact, because that is what you choose to believe.
It is not possible to know with any certainty, the precise details of how people of old came to believe in
God. All we know is that people of old lacked formal education, and frequently reverted to polytheism.

Your "facts" depend on the opinions of Historians, who disbelieve in God.
Neither you nor I can state categorically what happened thousands of years ago.
It is merely conjecture.

You don't understand history then, or you choose to deny it.
I do not deny history .. I just interpret it differently to you.

The oldest occurrence of his name is in the phrase "Shasu of Yhw" (Egyptian: 𓇌𓉔𓍯𓅱 yhwꜣw) in an Egyptian inscription from the time of Amenhotep III (1402–1363 BCE), the Shasu being nomads from Midian and Edom in northern Arabia. The current consensus is therefore that Yahweh was a "divine warrior from the southern region associated with Seir, Edom, Paran, and Teman". - Grabbe, Lester (2007). Ancient Israel: What Do We Know and How Do We Know It?
Whose consensus? The consensus of a bunch of disbelieving historians?
G-d has always been G-d .. it is only what people believe about Him that is subject to change. 🌙
