take a cross and let it be carried even as it was in any movie about the christ . yes it would look like a pole with a cross member . how ever the short end the stub end of the cross is the part that drops in to the hole . four men could stand it . three could get it down and thats if they were carful with it. not likely ,not like they were going to hurt a dead man by dropping it .

ok I will repost since you are deliberately avoiding this.

Jesus also told Peter how he would die.. and the stretching out of his hands. And we all know how Peter was martyred. He was crucified upside down arms stretched out on a cross.

John 21:18-19
18 Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” 19 Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, “Follow me!”

Also you did not deny Christ being crucified but the definition of crucifixion does not match your NWT torture stake theory. Maybe hanging from a tree but not crucifixion.

You mean the NWT. The New World Bible Translation Committee changed a lot of things that didn't fit their theology. As more stuff was pointed out against their theology more editions followed with the changes. Lies and perversions.

took away your Trinity with one letter ''A'' and there by backing up all other scriptures that does not give any supporting to the false belief in the Trinity . wondering why you are trying to change the subject of the tread .

torture stake is an accurate description of the implement and what its victim go's through .it would not remain standing as you picture the cross .

some thing you could do is go to Acts 5:30 - Bible Gateway and see how many different ways acts 5:30 is done in different bibles

Er, that's not the question. I asked if you had any evidence that the Romans used such a method (a cross-piece at the foot of the upright).
