Christ's Kingdom?

will it not be great when lasting peace is brought about through the messianic Kingdom of God....DANIEL 2;44

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite

(Matthew 6:10) Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth....Yes the bible tells us that Jesus is the one who is the king of this heavenly kingdom

(John 18:36) Jesus answered: "My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source."yes Jesus is the one who has the legal right to that kingdom because he is Gods son

(Genesis 49:10) The scepter will not turn aside from Judah, neither the commander’s staff from between his feet, until Shi´loh comes; and to him the obedience of the peoples will belong......yes this shi loh is Jesus Gods Son

"Shiloh." Or, "the one whose it is." Heb., Shi·loh´, meaning "He Whose It Is," or, "He to Whom It Belongs"; LXX, "the things stored up for him"; Vg, "he who is to be sent."

For there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace...Isaiah 9;6-7

is it not Good news to know that Gods established Kingdom in the heavens will bring peace to the earth ,what with all of the bad news on the news and the newspapers . what a fantastic hope to know that it will not always be badnews on the earth, but all of the horrible things will be done away with for ever. and how come? only through the rulership of Jesus christ

For there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace...Isaiah 9; 6-9

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite...Daniel 2;44

But Jesus kept silent. So the high priest said to him: "By the living God I put you under oath to tell us whether you are the Christ the Son of God!" Jesus said to him: "You yourself said [it]. Yet I say to YOU men, From henceforth YOU will see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of power and coming on the clouds of heaven....matthew 26;63-64

I kept on beholding in the visions of the night, and, see there! with the clouds of the heavens someone like a son of man (Jesus)happened to be coming; and to the Ancient of Days(Jehovah) he gained access, and they brought him up close even before that One. And to him there were given rulership and dignity and kingdom, that the peoples, national groups and languages should all serve even him. His rulership is an indefinitely lasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom one that will not be brought to ruin...Daniel 7;13-14

(Acts 7:56) and he said: "Look! I behold the heavens opened up and the Son of man (Jesus)standing at God’s right hand

(Revelation 14:14) And I saw, and, look! a white cloud, and upon the cloud someone seated like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand............looks like Jesus has got plenty of work to do after being made king of Gods kingdom

(Revelation 1:7) Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, and those who pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in grief because of him. Yes, Amen...yes Jesus is now in heaven with great ruling power given him by his father Jehovah God

For there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace...Isaiah 9; 6-9

Yep.. Praise Jesus.. Marantha!

Considering the amount of suffering, pestulance, and "EVIL" still rocking this world, and considering the climate changes, plate shifts, and volcanic activity that has increased by 10 fold over the last 100 years, I'd surmise that Christ's Kingdom is not yet at hand. It certainly is not due to passing asteroids, or the Sun's activity. Planets have not changed orbit or velocity. The earth hasn't sped up or slowed down in rotation. Global warming does not account for what happens below the surface of the planet.

If it (His Kingdom) is at hand, then Christ would be failing as a ruler (which I doubt), and opposing forces would be winning. I personally never considered Christ the underdog in this war of principalities, therefore I can only surmise that His time has not yet come.

And since with all the bad happening, there seems to be a great deal of good going on, to counter it (as in keeping balance), then I must by default surmise that the Holy Spirit of God is still among us, lending us encouragement, strength, and wisdom.

From what I understand, once Jesus enters the theater, all this crap happening will be over in one day, not years or decades later, but a single day, followed by a thousand years of peace.

Look around you...where is the peace? There is none. There is only detente, truces, and war.

All this pain however, reminds me of a woman in the beginnings of childbirth...hmmm, where did I read that before? ;)

Q

yes Jesus was made king of Gods kingdom in the heavens in 1914 and the first thing that he did was to get the rebels out of the way no good having a goverment with rebels in it

So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. rev 12;9and then what does the bible say .....woe for the earth because the devil has come down to you having great anger

Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time...rev 12;12 yes there is still bad going on down here but not for long because the war of the great day of Jehovah ,is just around the corner ,that will sort the rebels down here out as well.this brings to mind that Jehovah does not what anyone to be destroyed at armaggedon

Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance 2 peter 3;9 or repentance can mean a change of mind

yes Jesus sure is a Mighty devine one ,but only Jehovah is the Almighty God .Jesuswill be our Father forever.and Jesus is a prince giving peace

(Psalm 45:3) Gird your sword upon [your] thigh, O mighty one, [With] your dignity and your splendor.

(John 1:18) No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is in the bosom [position] with the Father is the one that has explained him. what a grand king Jesus is,it is the only way to peace on the earth

But mee... you posted the scripture yourself...
For there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace...Isaiah 9; 6-9

when was the Father ever a child?? Is the Father the Son?? does the Father have princely rule?? yet this scripture calls the son.. WONDERFUL COUNSELOR........MIGHTY GOD... ETERNAL FATHER...and PRINCE OF PEACE

No man hath seen the Father at any time... Jesus has seen the Father because not only is He fully man.. He is also fully God. He is the great I AM who existed before Abraham.. who shared the glory with the Father before the world was.

Adam and Eve walked with God in the garden.. if no man hath seen the Father than who did Adam and Eve walk with? Abraham ate with God.. if no man hath seen the Father than who did Abraham eat with?

You limit God in your beliefs... I pray someday you see it in its totality :)

(Romans 6:9) For we know that Christ, now that he has been raised up from the dead, dies no more; death is master over him no more.....so he will be our eternal fatherbecause he will not die

(Hebrews 7:24) but he because of continuing alive forever has his priesthood without any successors. .....yes no one will take over his kingship

Just like He is the Almighty God :) See? we are coming to an agreement finally!

"It is even so written: ‘The first man Adam became a living soul.’ The last Adam (Jesus)became a life-giving spirit." (1 Corinthians 15:45) Mankind’s new, adoptive Father will give it the best start in life possible. Jesus is our eternal father because we can gain everlasting life from him not like our first father Adam who only passed on death . they were both perfect but Jesus is the one who proved himself faithful to his father Jehovah God and we can gain life from this eternal father

The Son of God is to become the "Eternal Father" to this human family, for which he laid down his perfect human life in sacrifice....so its not meaning that Jesus is God

When he was resurrected from the dead, he was returned to the spirit realm and was exalted to his Resurrector’s right hand and now we can get everlasting life from this Eternal father Jesus christ.so no i do not agree that Jesus is the Almighty God Jehovah ,but just as the bible tells us he is Gods son

For there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace...Isaiah 9; 6-9

You are evading the issue.. Im not disputing that Jesus Christ is called the Eternal Father.. Im saying that He is also called MIGHTY GOD! You cant take bits and pieces of scripture to apply it to what you want and disregard the rest.. It sounds silly and makes you look like your grasping at straws.

yes ,Jesus is a mighty God but he is not the Almighty God he never claimed to be equel to his father ,in fact , when he was speaking to mary magdalane he said that he had a God
Jesus said to her: "Stop clinging to me. For I have not yet ascended to the Father. But be on your way to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to MY God and YOUR God....JOHN 20;17 i dont need to evade the issue about who the Almighty God is because the scriptures themselves are quite clear who the Almighty God is....psalm 83;18 there is only one Jehovah God and he is the one who has given Jesus all the authority

And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: "All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth...matthew 28;18yes Jesus kingship was given him by his father Jehovah

Wow I didnt know that JW's teach that there are more than one God... And the fact that He was visibly and with all acceptance in the bible.. Worshipped? What would that mean to the commandments?

Romans 9:5 of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know the true One. We are in the true One--that is, in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

Hebrew 1:6 When He again brings His firstborn into the world, He says, And all God's angels must worship Him.

Hebrews 1:8 But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.

Acts 20:28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

Titus 2:13 while we wait for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Mighty God - This title can agree to no man but Christ, who was God as well as man, to whom the title of God or Jehovah is given, both in the Old and New Testament. And it is a true observation, that this Hebrew word El is never used in the singular number, of any creature, but only of the almighty God. The father - The father of eternity. Who, though as man he was then unborn, yet was and is from everlasting to everlasting. (excerpt taken from

Might I also say that the ONLY time Jesus referred to the Father as His God was when He said on the cross... My God My God why hast thou forsaken me... With all the sins of world on His shoulders. Every other time he referred to Him as His Father. :)

There is only one Almighty God as the bible tells us

JB
reads: "They are descended from the patriarchs and from their flesh and blood came Christ who is above all, God for ever blessed! Amen." (KJ, Dy read similarly.) However, in NW the latter part of the verse reads: "from whom the Christ sprang according to the flesh: God, who is over all, be blessed forever. Amen." (RS, NE, TEV, NAB, Mo all use wording similar to NW.)

Is this verse saying that Christ is "over all" and that he is therefore God? Or does it refer to God and Christ as distinct individuals and say that God is "over all"? Which rendering of Romans 9:5 agrees with Romans 15:5, 6, ....

Now may the God who supplies endurance and comfort grant YOU to have among yourselves the same mental attitude that Christ Jesus had, that with one accord YOU may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

which first distinguishes God from Christ Jesus and then urges the reader to glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ? and as this verse says

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort 2 corinthians 1-3...The AV and KJV says blessed be God even the father of our Lord Jesus christ. yes Jesus has a God and father.....and this verse

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for he has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in union with Christ...ephesians 1;3....yes as Jesus himself said he has a father

regarding this verse
But we know that the Son of God (Jesus Christ))has come, and he has given us intellectual capacity that we may gain the knowledge of the true one.(Jehovah God) And we are in union with the true one,(Jehovah God) by means of his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and life everlasting. 1 john; 5;20 yes ,as john17;3 tells us we can gain knowledge of the true one and Jesus christ

This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ

But when he again brings his Firstborn into the inhabited earth, he says: "And let all God’s angels do obeisance to him...hebrews 1;6

Or, "let . . . worship." Gr., pro·sky·ne·sa´to·san; Lat., a·do´rent. See 2Ki ngs2:15 which uses bowed down.....They . . . bowed down." Gr., pro·se·ky´ne·san. yes this first born son of Jehovah God is worthy of our respect because he is the firstborn son of God

.

regarding hebrews 1;8 In many translations, either in the main text or in the margin, Hebrews 1:9 reads, God, your God, anointed you. This makes it clear that the one addressed in verse eight is not God, but one who worships God and is anointed by him.

With good reason, therefore, NWT and a number of other translations render Hebrews 1:8 as, "God is your throne." (See An American Translation, Moffatt; also the marginal reading in American Standard Version, Revised Standard Version and The New English Bible.) This makes it clear that the Son, Jesus Christ, has a God who is higher than he is.

regarding acts 20 ;28

Which renderings agree with 1 John 1:7, which says: The blood of Jesus his [God’s] Son cleanses us from all sin? (See also Revelation 1:4-6.) As stated in John 3:16, did God send his only-begotten Son, or did he himself come as a man, so that we might have life? It was the blood, not of God, but of his Son that was poured out

1903 "with the blood of His own Son" The Holy Bible inmodern English,by F.Fenton, london also the 1966Todays english version, american bible society,New York...through the death of his own son

Pay attention to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the holy spirit has appointed YOU overseers, to shepherd the congregation of God, which he purchased with the blood of his own [Son)...NWT Yes the bible as a whole tells us that Jesus is Gods son and not God himself

while we wait for the happy hope and glorious manifestation of the great God and of [the] Savior of us, Christ Jesus ......yes Jesus is our savior there is not a nother one who we can gain life through.Of the Great God and of [the] Savior of Us, Christ Jesus"Tit 2:13—Gr., του µεγάλου θεου και σωτηρος ηµων Χριστου᾿Ιησου
(tou me·ga´lou The·ou´ kai so·te´ros he·mon´ Khri·stou´ I·e·sou´)

in Tit 2:13, two distinct persons, Jehovah God and Jesus Christ, are mentioned. Throughout the Holy Scriptures it is not possible to identify Jehovah and Jesus as being the same individual.......the Greek text above ...The new testament in the original Greek, by B.F.Westcott and F.J.A Hort 1881
