This thread has been inspired by both the "Daily Wisdom Saying" thread and the "Your Two Cents (Words) Worth" thread, and intends to mesh both of them into a new concept on this board: that is, your thought of the day. This could be a quote from someone else that inspires you, but since there is already a thread for that (Daily Wisdom Saying), I thought the main focus could be original thoughts that might be bouncing around your head. The Two Words thread is a lot of fun, but I found that I couldn't break down the thought of the day that I had in the shower this morning to just two words. :D

My thought:

Turn off the TV and tune into being an engaged, informed, and active citizen. What are you passionate about? What would you like to see change in your community, your state, your country, your world? Now, what can you do about it? Finally, what's stopping you? Go ahead, hit the streets, do something!

Ahh, i'm good at these, ok, here's my one for today!

As well as having 5 fruits and veg a day, there are 5 things you need to do to nourish your soul for the day

1) Meditate
2) Smile
3) Laugh
4) Give
5) Appreciate

Do these 5 things throughout the day and watch your day become more and more fruitful!

The average person isn't average.

Ordinary people are not ordinary.

I would procrastinate, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

If more is not necessarily better, then average is not necessarily normal.

No matter how bad things seem, they could always be worse.

Take time for the really important things (this one because two boys who've been missing for close to three weeks were found, or at least their bodies were.) :(

Hi, Phyllis--

Remain in Love.

Seek, follow, and never forget the light, even when we must acknowledge, and even at times embrace the darkness.

In the shadows is where the Light shines the brightest...

InPeace,
InLove
(And ...:) ...are you ready?...."Meow", even...;))

Well, as we're in the lounge ... one of my favourites ...

"Never kiss an animal that can lick its own a**"

I'm happy this thread is getting some time in the light. :)
I'm happy I get some time in the light too. Tis a choice, letting the light in and/or providing light for others. I give thanx for the light.:D

Congrats! I can understand your excitement. I was a novice potter once upon a time (B.K.) and hope to be one again someday.

Which typs of pottery? Thrown or poured? I'm mostly the poured ceramicist, but I took a class in thrown (I was allergic to the instructor for some reason and there was a personlity clash concerning who knows more about the Jewish culture, an ootside observer or a practitioner.*)

Sorry to temporarily derail the thread here.

* = Will start new thread about it if anybody's truly interested
