What music are you listening to?

June 3 was the 40th anniversary of Exodus, Bob Marley & the Wailers.

Right now the fire in London and the two shootings in the United States (one was in Alexandria, Virginia at a practice softball game with Republican congressmen and the other was a San Francisco workplace shooting.) Twelve people died in the fire so far.

*headdesk* Today is not auspicious for reporting "good news". I'll be over with the :kitty:s. One of the calico longhairs is waiting for me.

Politics Takes A Holiday 2017, Capitol Steps.

I think that I may listen to other podcasts from previous broadcasts as well as this one tomorrow.

umm err...it just came on a friends pandora station just now... and then went into Rollng Stones...

The song right after My Woman From Tokyo was some little-known song, Smoke On the Water, also by Deep Purple.

The local (to me) radio station has little "treats" associated with every deejay except for the morning team (the deejay that comes on right after them plays an hour's worth of tunes that a randomly chosen listener requests during the lunch hour as well as has a trivia question at two, the deejay after her plays "twofer"s at five, the one after him plays a Led Zeppelin classic after eleven [the lead-in is a bit of trivia associated with the date], and I don't know what the other deejay does.)

Car Talk!

The show includes what they call "Car Talk Car Tunes", which are irreverent songs that refer to driving in some way.

Dark Side of the Moon just ended and In the Dark by Billy Squier has started. The radio station in the background is playing songs loosely associated with the eclipse.
