What music are you listening to?

La Vie en Rose (both the French and the English versions [the first one by Edith Piaf, the second by "Satchmo"].) It's a rather old torch song. :)

Cool, SG, thanks.

It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday and A Song for Mama, both by Boyz II Men.

Earlier today I listened to The Streak by Ray Stevens (a blast from the past that made me remember the several times that the news was "blacked out" due to streakers.)

What ever happened to such relatively harmless pranks?

Ah streaking....

Participated in some solo and group streakings in high school...

some mass streakings when college age...twas quite exhilerating...

I was working in the kitchen of a cafeteria and the little old ladies were talking about streaking...

"What will we ever do if someone streaks thru the cafeteria?"

"Well I'll just put my hands on my hips and say, 'Well they don't make them like they used too!'"

Oh how they laughed and blushed...

(oh to still have the physique to streak)

Totentanz- Franz Liszt

YouTube - Robin Trower-The Fool and Me.

The Fool and Me

Traveling that wind and laugh at the crowd,
ummm the fool and me

Howl at the moon baby yeah out loud,
The fool and me

And ohh oh, where ever we go
We keep the spirit free

Ohh nobody knows
No one but the fool and me

Stretching on out and feeling fine,
The fool and me

Two fools dancing on the hands of time, yeah
The fool and me

And ohh oh, where ever we go
We keep the spirit free

Ohh nobody knows
No one but the fool and me

Running like the wind and laugh at the crowd,
The fool and me
etc.

YouTube - Robin Trower - Shame the Devil

Shame the Devil

There's a time, for living
And a time for love

There's a time, for forgiving, yall
And a time to shove

Ohh there's more, won then lost
More hoping here to spare

And its waiting, waiting
Don't ya spend your whole life hesitating

Come and tell the truth
Shame the devil

There's more, light than dark
Honey shining down on you

More despair, then what you got
And baby you'll need the truth

This whole world, has had enough
Of people giving up

And its waiting, waiting
Don't you spend your whole life hesitating.....
etc.
