witnessing to a JW

i do not dwell on a new government or a new earth, quote] that is the problem , this message that the bible promises is the thing that Jesus focused on , and most christians have fallen asleep to the promises in the bible .
But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell. 2 PETER 3;13

What do you base this on? It would be interesting to total Jesus's quotes in the bible and see what percentage was focused on this...and what was focused on teaching us how to live, love and forgive in this life.

Yes you are correct to say that Jesus taught us how to live, love, and forgive. but Jesus knew that the kingdoms of this political world would not bring peace to the earth, and this is how he answered pilate,
Jesus answered: "My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this sourceJohn 18;36 Jesus could have made himself king on the earth but he knew that it was not Gods purpose to do this at that time , he knew that his kingship would be at a future time in the heavens .

(Daniel 2:44) "And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;
(Daniel 7:14) And to him there were given rulership and dignity and kingdom, that the peoples, national groups and languages should all serve even him. His rulership is an indefinitely lasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom one that will not be brought to ruin.
(Revelation 11:15) And the seventh angel blew his trumpet. And loud voices occurred in heaven, saying: "The kingdom of the world did become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will rule as king forever and ever."................. and Jesus left us the model prayer
(Matthew 6:10) Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.

showing clearly what message it was that he came to preach, he said: "I must declare the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this I was sent forth."—Luke 4:43; 8:1.
Yes, Kingdom preaching was Jesus’ primary work; it was God’s purpose for him to advertise this heavenly government that will eventually rid the earth of all unrighteousness, and will see that God’s will is done here. (Matt. 6:9, 10)

A tape recorder can do the same thing. How has God affected you personally?

taking in knowledge about Jehovah and Jesus christ John 17;3 has effected me to do the will of God.
And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. matthew 24;14 before i took in knowledge about Jehovah and Jesus christ , telling out the goodnews would have been the last thing on my mind , but now , well i think it is plain for all to see how Jehovah has effected me.:)

Your asking the wrong Question Q....

Mee:

Imagine: For a moment you have forgotten the url for the watchtower website.. And that you haven't got a bible to refer to.

Question:

1. What made you personally want to be a follower of jah? How did the thought of a creator -move- you, to be who you are today?

2. How did you meet the JW's? What did you like of their teaching, or did you grow up in a JW family and were taught of jah that way?

Your asking the wrong Question Q....

No, I am not soldier. I wish to harm no one's belief. I simply want to hear the man's personal life (the part that lead him to his faith). I told my story. And I didn't use the papal writs to do so...the only person on the CR forum allowed to cut and paste for so long is, mee. I think it is time that mee, tells a bit about himself. If not, then things get moderated, such as cut and paste...

to be honest i would say Jehovah is the hearer of prayer. and Jehovah found me .

Like I said...talking to a wall.
well the bible is a powerful influence in the lives of people if they allow it to be so. we can read the bible but putting it into action is something that some people are not willing to do .
Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things." matthew 28;19-20 going and doing something is putting it into action , doing nothing is not going .....................
And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. matthew 24;14
Jesus has aurthority over his congregation, and since 1914 he has aurthority over Gods newly established kingdom (Colossians 1:13; Revelation 11:15) i like to work inline with Jesus . ........... its good .............:)

So you don't come from say a JW family?

Hearer of prayers? So before being a JW, you were a religious man? What faith were you before?
OK ,i will give a little bit away about myself Church of England on a birth certificate , was about it ,
but i found no enlightenment regarding the bible in that erea, only manmade doctrines not inline with the bible . i was a rebel when it came to God in my childhood because i did not believe that there was a God , if ever i felt the need to pray i would dig in my heels and say to myself ,how can i talk to a thing that is not even there. so i didnt bother. but later on in life , i allowed myself to talk to an imagined God , and i said in my so called prayer .............. WHAT A MESS THE WORLD IS ........if there is a God up there WHY dont you do something about things ?............... if i was God i would start all over again , if you are up there, i dont really blame you for all of the wars , crime, ruining of the earth , it is mans fault not yours, so if i was you i would start again . that was my first ever prayer and not long after my questions were well and truely answered............. and i can see that Jehovah really is the answerer of prayers

:)

Awesome post... So from there you went on to find your faith, and found answers to your questions... That's cool. Remeber I am not of the faith, so I'm not trying to convert you to something else, I just wanted to, you know get to know you a bit more... Instead of always reading bible passages. I like to hear about how people found their path and how much it's made their life personally better, good stuff.... "give a bit away about myself" Don't worry Mee, I won't bite....

Didn't you just open up? ;)
i think you must be able to see why i think the GOODNEWS of the established kingdom is great .Daniel 2;44 that is my most favourite verse, and after that first ever prayer , the first verse that i was shown from the bible by Jehovahs witnesses was Daniel 2;44 and it was wow:eek: that told me that Jehovah was saying , dont worry i have everything in order i will make all things new again.
"The One seated on the throne said: ‘Look! I am making all things new.’ Also, he says: . . . ‘These words are faithful and true.’"—REVELATION 21:5.
