Mine? is this about -my- definition or the JW as a whole in definiton? Which, Mee is apart of.... I am reading his "rules" from his site...... So what my definition is, doesn't count and doesn't even come into this... :)

All my ex JW friends... Would always be concerned when I was on forums like this... Because in their eyes you're all wrong... :) And surronding myself with people that walk hand in hand with false religion is DANGGGGGEROUS!! OOOH BABY!! *slaps himself* Anyway... You don't put yourself into temptation by "mingling" with the false relgion type in a place such as this... That's why it kind of confuses me that Mee you are SO brainwashed... And you ARE.... That I find it suprising you still mingle with the unclean ;\

have you noticed how i always make the kingdom my focus .
And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. matthew 24;14... nice:)

Pattimax, if Jehovah's Witnesses are following the wrong brand of Christianity, then which is the corrct one? :)

The way I see it, too many Christians fall over themselves to internal squabbling over what Christianity means in theory, rather than just going out and practicing.

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
point being, don't worry about it. let our Father in heaven deal with His children. Besides, you have to hand it to mee, he/she know his/her scripture. he/she is speaking in His name. it is different way of speaking, but speaking in His name none the less. my 1 cent.

yes because there are many bitter and twisted people who are only out to tear your faith in Jehovah God and Jesus christ down . they speak many halftruths ,outright lies, and distortions, about Jehovahs witnesses and they do not offer anything good at all. their only aim is to destroy your faith in Jehovah and Jesus christ. dont get me wrong not all people are like that ,but this is the sort of place that they like to prey on because they dont like the Goodnews to be made known .
And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. matthew 24;14

yes that is very true, and how the apostles were blessed for maintaining that Gods aurthority is supreme.
Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus."—Acts 5:42.

LMFAO!! The JW are bitter and twisted??? I think you got the wrong end of my stick ;) my ex-friends.... That ARE JW's...... Do not agree about forums such as these... As should all the JW's... As their site states. If you truly are a JW... Next time you in the kingdom hall, mention to one of your elders or whoever brought you into "the truth"... That you come on here... Then you will see what I mean.. At first it will be the softly softly JW/Mormon talk to sway you... But if you can gauge people's reactions... You'll know what I mean... After awhile their questions will increase in rate...

yes i know what you meant , they were concerned about you being misled by people who speak halftruths and lies about Jehovahs witnesses.
 
No not at all, as you well know being a JW you know that you're in the "truth" so it doesn't matter what others think as you will say jesus claimed this would happen.... What they don't like is having one of their "brothers" in a situation where he can be tempted away from the truth and be taken by the devil.... ;\ Oh my he will be in an enviroment where he may get an open mind :O and may choose things for himself ;)

there is no ridicule here, so you can stop trying to claim that. there is concern and there is brotherly love in regards to the direction you are in, but not ridicule. the extent to what jw would do because someone said to do something is the point. jw's at one time or another did sell all their belongings, quit their jobs, and got ready for the end of days to come, only to be victims of false prophecy. however, what we see and you fail to, is your rationalization of false prophecy so you can continue to be part of a group that you feel accepted you just as long as you keep repeating their teachings and no matter how many wrong things they do, you will not see it because you dont stop repeating these things long enough to listen and think.

Christianity does not come in "brands". You are either a follower of Jesus Christ or you aren't. Jehovah's Witnesses are a misinformed cult.

If your inquiring about denominations, I have never really had a problem with any of them. Maybe you are only seeing the vocal minority of Christians. For every one Christian you see squabbling, I guarantee there are about a hundred living peacefully.

The early Christians did NOT interpret Holy Spirit as a force. In John 14:16-7 Jesus said,
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be IN you.
The Holy Spirit teaches us because we KNOW Him. And he wanted us to use the Holy Spirit for effective witnessing to the gospel.

Here is a fact that hasn't been here before, (maybe it has, I just haven't read it here before),
Charles Taze Russell, the creator of your illustrious cult, on completing his volmes titled Studies in the Scriptures told his followers they did NOT need to read the bible as long as they read his books. What is the Watchtower spin on that?

in regards to prophecy there is no progression. it is either 100% correct or it is not. when the jw's ventured into prophecy and were wrong (numerous times), they lost their credibility as any kind of "channel". there is no progression in that respect, sorry.
