The Gallery...

Yeah, graphic novels are da tricky...

You've got good dialouge writing mixed with good inking, mixed with good coloring, mixed with setting and mood and timing and creating a world...

From what I've seen, good job so far btw! Looking forward to what you come up with...

And how was I not supposed to think the guy was gonna get eaten with the creepy eyezes in da tree lookin all hungry and junk...lol. It's just how meh brainz been hardwired cause of all da scary movies I've watched...hehe...

Native, nice work, very intricate, and I love the texture. lol, looks like it belongs in a museum, like it's some ancient artwork they found, it just has that kinda look, yano? Awesome!

Netti/Native: Some cool works there :D:D:D Thanks for sharing!

Native: Yeah attempting to make the front cover look comic-ish in style and layout. All round however, it is quite an interesting/mix layout
I have setup For 'May an Angel lead you.' Enjoying..... 1.5 weeks
into now.... Still, quite a way to go lol... I keep adding more to
the plot and I also have another spiffing idea, but I want to show
it, not say it... So I am trying to get my head around it..... I'll
figure a way to symbolise it though, quite, I'm sure.

Netti: In words, how would you describe the style your artworks take?

Imort: O'lulz, I see where you're coming from! The glowing ebil red eyes
from within the shadows can portrait that sure, but, it isn't going
to jump out and show itself here! What the eye doesn't see can be
much more scary! EEEEP!!!!!!!!

Lulz... But yeah, it's a mixed bag my work... Parts aim to be
borderline scary in a black humour/light way.... Not heavy dark
scary. Also looking for some Comedy, but, not sure if I am funny
enough to get that to work, gonna try for sure though! Anyway...
Hi ho hi ho..... Back to working on it.

Sounds like it'll be sweet! Hey, funny is relative, so even if you don't think it's funny, odds are someone else will be like rollin on the floor. You can do it, lol! :D I believe in ya! :D

Here's a pic to add to the thread in the meantime...

Enjoy the morbidity! *insert ebil laugh here* ;)

Just pencil, but I have to up the contrast buttloads and darken it to make it see-able after the scanner is done with it...

God I loathe that scanner...

Thanks, about the car, yeah, I'm normally not that good wit the cars either. So nice of you to think it looks...er...crashable? Well, to say it looks vaguely car like, anyhow. :p

iMort: Ever tried ink'ing your work after your done?

Netti: I don't tend to stick to a style, that I am aware of lol.... Not sure, what I would call my style..... Mainly cartoony digital doodle work I guess! I think your title suits your style :)

Earlier version. I use stock photos for photo manipulations.
I usually modify the images quite a bit.

Netti, your work is like watching fireworks, all you can do is look at them, and try not to let your jaw drop too far, lol. They're great! :)

17, yeah, I've inked the stuff before. Meh, I know I'll look bad if I say I'm just too lazy...but I'm just too lazy to do that all the time. I know, I'm terrible... Don't look at me like that!

Lol, there should be lazy contests. I'd like, solid tie with Garfield... :p

Imort: I'd be too lazy to show up and get disqualified :/

Netti: That is sweet, I like both but the green version of this work is much better has that.... "beings from outter space!!!" *eriee 70's sci fi music* feel to it, Nice one. :)

Yes, that happens to me all the time. I think it's what's contributed to my multiple personality disorder. Im in the double digits now! Say hi to bob!

Bob says hi back!

Seriously though, I know what your talkin about. It's probably not technically the right way to go but I find my characters are little pieces of my own personality fleshed out and filled in enough with their own stuff to make a person out of them. It's like having a kid, sept you get to pick how they turn out. Most of the time. Until they start doin things on their own anyhow... I'm done...lol.
