Using water paints I was making an amazing horse... I was then going to have fire from its nose and flames within its eyes.... I need to practice "layering" water paint some more... Cause it messed up big time... In my frustration I grabbed a few pastels and just crushed them agaisn't a plain bit of paper... Came out with this lol...

You are funny, brother! Oh, by the way nice pics of the Butterflies! Some are totally awesome and they are huge where you live. Wow! But, they are quite unique. Thank you for sharing them with us Alex.

God Bless Hermano!

Papa P Nut! Nice one... I think I prefers it! I bet the original copy looks awesome.. I think it is shocking how much detail you loose ;/ Scanners = Butchers....

lol

Wanted to share this... I know it is going to reduce the size as it always does.. Photobucket = butchers.... ';/ But hope it can be read.

Which Bible translation is that from ?

Not painted for ages but bought a half dozen canvasses and some fresh paints a few weeks ago. Here is my first completed work. It is a portrait of my Austrian friend and her son done in the style of the great Austrian painter Gustav Klimpt. Features the green heart (of Styria) and a thistle flower (scotland) close to top left. Photo does not really do justice to the very heavy texturing nor the metallic and iridescent paints in use.

Working on another two and will be starting a third soon....really enjoying it again :)
