This analogy is not meant to be literal, just a practical way to view our place in God, and our condition as sinful creatures...

[Something to meditate on]

Imagine for a moment that [you] are God; within you is a very complex system of regulation. All things act in accordance to these regulations. Your heart, your lungs, your bladder, your brain, your cells all work together and in harmony with one another. Why are these regulations important? Because they keep your body in sync with the rest to keep you healthy.

Imagine now, that one of your cells decides to rebel, and do its own thing. That cell is no longer acting in accordance to set regulations, and as a result, that one cell becomes a cancer cell.

No longer is that part of your body in sync with the rest. The whole body suffers from that one little cell which chose to do its own thing.

Now, imagine the cell as [mankind] That one act of rebellion disrupted the entire body. Now imagine that the cancer begins to spread to other cells, creating more cancer cells.

[So it is with mankind, and our existence in God.]

We are but a tiny part of God. Even so, the result of one cells rebellion, ended up creating many rebellious cells, and as a result, the cancerous cells create utter chaos, and suffering in body of God.

God has a cure for rebellious cells, and provides for them a way to get back in sync with body. The cure manifest itself in the infected area of body [Earth] to help cells [Mankind] recover, and to bring the chaos back in order.

The cure is [Christ], and it is only through Christ that the cells can get back in sync with the rest of body.

God desires all things within Him to be in Harmony with the rest. We suffer as cancer cells, because we choose to rebel against the natural order that has been set in the body of God.
[God also suffers as a result of cancer cells [Our] disobedience.]

All cancer cells will continue to suffer until they [We] allow the cure [Christ] to bring us in sync with God again. It is only Christ that can restore order within God’s body…

…and this is salvation - To be in harmony, and to have life without suffering in God, through Christ.

Christ gives but two commands, “Love God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.

Only with an earnest Love for God, and an earnest Love for self, and an earnest Love for neighbor, will we ever find ourselves reconciled in God.

It is only by surrendering ourselves completely to Christ that this can be achieved…We must die to self, and live [through] Christ, in order to live, and to live in harmony in body of God.

I explore a similar analogy often.

UNeyeR1, we are all connected.

In your discussion, I look at wars.

I look at murder, rape, hate, racism.

It is like the left hand scratching the right arm till it bleeds.

The fingers and muscle cells and fingernails of one don't realize they are connected to the skin and blood and hair that they are destroying.

I like how Paul puts it in Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body and one Spirit--just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call-- one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Romans 5;12 says it all

That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned.

but no worries ,we can get everlasting life back again and it is through Jesus .
(1 Corinthians 15:21) For since death is through a man,(ADAM) resurrection of the dead is also through a man.(JESUS)

Jehovah accepted the value of Jesus’ sacrifice as the ransom needed to deliver mankind from slavery to sin and death.—Romans 3:23, 24.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and it is as a free gift that they are being declared righteous by his undeserved kindness through the release by the ransom [paid] by Christ Jesus.

Only by living through Christ are we able to be reconciled, and find [harmony] in God.

Col 3:14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Col 3:15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Col 3:17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Yes , listening to Jesus is the way to go . and it leads to everlasting life .

This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ. JOHN 17;3

To "Mee" - okay, I've read several of your posts and, no offense, but I haven't read a single original thought from you yet. I understand quoting the Bible, as that is the basis for all your reasoning and belief, but God gave you a brain as well as His Word, and it might honor Him better to think up your own stuff instead of regurgitating what you've read. Just a thought. God bless! :)

Actually thats most peoples problems they think the way they want to twist stuff is better than the way God said it.

Of course thats cause most of mankind thinks they deserve to be on the throne or at least even with the one on the Throne.

First of all, the Bible, while inspired by God, was written by fallable human beings, so there's a chance they weren't perfect. Secondly, there are multiple verses open for interpretation, which is why God gave us our own brains, not one collective brain. Whoever said that thinking for yourself is twisting the truth? I say it's merely using one of the many resources God has given us.

sticking to the bible is the way to go, and not thinking up our own thoughts , and God is well pleased if we stick to bible teachings

All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.:)2 timothy 3;16-17

i am glad to see that you have noticed that i dont tell out my own thoughts but stick to what the bible says .

i will be happy living in a paradise earth ,

Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth matthew 5;5

But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. psalm 37;11

The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it. psalm 37;29

i am a work in progress. but that paradise is in clear focus.:)

i find its much better to focus on the bible teaching that Jesus spoke of .

i would rather be one of the great crowd that is welcoming the newly crowded king Jesus christ ,and recognizing the one sat on the throne.

After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands. And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation [we owe] to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.” revelation 7;9-10

I agree, He gave us a mind, so we may as well use it to His glory, eh? I do believe all scripture is inspired. Even so, one book cannot contain the entirety of truth. It just isn't plausible. At least for me.......

.......He gave to us intellegence; so we can search things out, taking abstract ideas, and turning them into something more easily understood. [imo]

Wow, so you're saying all the good ideas have already been thought up, and our minds are only meant to memorize Bible verses? I'm sorry, but there are many, many, MANY good things "our own thoughts" can do; who told you that to be a Christian you can't think for yourself?! This is why I hate the organized Church as a whole; it spreads idiotic ideas like that. I don't think God wants followers who enjoy being spoon-fed their beliefs without first examining what they're being fed. May I give a heartfelt shout out to the United Negro College Fund as I quote them, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste."

When it comes to christians ,they would have to be sticking to the teachings of Jesus and not be taking on manmade doctrines , because to do that would mean that they were not really christians at all . its not about memorizing bible verses its about putting the bible and what it REALLY teaches into practice . and the true christian congregation that is organized to do what Jesus said to do ,is organized indeed .

And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: "All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things." matthew 28 18;-20

yes the ones who are faithful to what jesus said, are very organized indeed.

and as Jesus said in matthew 24;14 the GOODNEWS will be preached in all the inhabited earth ,

And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.matthew 24;14

so rather than spreading idiotic ideas such as the TRINITY ,HELLFIRE ,ECT ECT

THE REAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH IS SPREADING THE REAL MESSAGE AND IT IS VERRRRY GOOD :)

when it comes to real bible thoughts we dont need out own thoughts ,because the thoughts of God are better.:)

Once I'm gone from earth, I am not coming back to it...
many people will be surprised indeed when they hear Jesus voice and then find themselves in a paradise earth :) even you LOL John 5;28-29

but i find that it is even better to put myself among the GREAT CROWD spoken of in REVELATION 7;9-10 and then that great crowd will have the chance to get through the GREAT TRIBULATION and then they will never have to die at all ,

but in the mean time some of that great crowd because of oldage now ,or because of sickness and accident , could be one of those that Jesus brings back to a paradise earth at a future time . so it will not be a surprise for those ones when they are brought back to life. because they know it will happen .

but many who think that they will be going to heaven ,will have to put themselves inline with Jesus on the earth , but they will hear Jesus voice .

mee, many people disagree with JW teachings and ideas just as you disagree with ideas such as the trinity.

Calling other people's ideas, especially ideas that are held in common by most Christians (such as the trinity), "idiotic" is inflammatory and just plain rude.

Let us be respectful and polite in how we speak to each other, as I'm sure we all can agree Christ would want us to behave.

Thanks,
Path
