Embracing the Mystery
yes all of those things you mention are Good , and in this time of the end the understanding about the prophecies especially the ones regarding GODS HEAVENLY KINGDOM DANIEL 2;44 and the understanding that Jesus is now a reigning king ,in that newly established heavenly kingdom ,is now abundant knowledge indeed Daniel 12;4 Daniel 7;13-14 so we dont need to spend our time wondering and searching the bible because the early bible students have done all of the roving around the bible and now the true knowledge is abundant indeed.
Maybe you feel comfortable just going along with what someone else tells you something means. I don't. I believe I am supposed to read my Bible myself and listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Also, I don't waste time with this practice. I read my Bible, and what I do not understand, I trust God will reveal to me in time if I need to understand it.
but what is important for us is to recognise fullfilled bible prophecy and to put our trust in that HEAVENLY KINGDOM GOVERMENT DANIEL 2;44
Why? Why not just spend our time loving God and each other? Why is recognizing prophecy important? Jesus gave us a message that we serve Him in the poor, the downtrodden, the needy. So I am unclear as to why His own commandment is considered insufficient?
Just as Jesus fullfilled the prophecies in the hebrew scriptures back in his day , and those who recognized him as Gods representative back then were looking to the right way .
Ah, but not all who recognized Him knew anything about the Hebrew prophecies. They recognized Him because their hearts were turned toward God, whether or not they knew about the prophecy. (For example, consider the Roman soldier.) And even those who did not recognize Him were forgiven. ("Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do.")
remember it was the proud religious leaders that did not recognise Jesus , so it is to day, the so called religious leaders who claim to be Gods representatives do not recognize fullfilled bible prophecy and all the signs that go with it .
Indeed. Yet many uneducated people, who were unlikely to have known all the prophecies, and even some Gentiles, recognized Him. So it is not all about prophecy. It is about whether someone seeks after God. God promises us that if we seek after Him, He will come to us (Matthew 7:9). There is no clause about whether or not we know anything at all about prophecy.
and in turn they are rejecting Jesus himself . Jesus is now a reigning king in the heavenly kingdom and putting our trust in that heavenly kingdom is the way to go Daniel 2;44 .
If any person seeks after God, s/he will find Him. That was God's promise to us. We are unable to reject Jesus if we are in fact seeking Him. In addition, Jesus tells us that when we serve others, we serve Him. So we are unable to reject Him if we are reaching out with compassion to others, seeing in them, the Christ.
do not allow religious leaders to mislead you to dissmiss fullfilled bible prophecy. make no mistake about it , there is great opposition to the true knowledge that is abundant Daniel 12;4
No worries for me. I don't follow any religious leaders of any sort. I read my own Bible, and other spiritual texts, and I ask the Spirit to lead me in how I conduct my own life.
in this time of the end the things that you mentioned ( trying to be a good person)are all good , but the gathering of people from all nations to welcome Jesus as a newly crowned king , and recognizing just who gave him that kingship is what is going on . REVELATION 7;9-10 and they are all being brought into UNITY of thought and purpose, and they are from ALL NATIONS .and it is VERY GOOD . there is no other way to salvation .
I disagree. The Gospels say otherwise. Jesus Himself said otherwise. It is not about what we say with our mouths. It is what we do with our lives. It is in becoming like Christ- serving the way He served, cultivating the attitude of humility and love and grace that He had- that we show we have been saved by grace.
Goodness, compassion, love... this is the message of the Gospel. Matthew 5:1-12.
When the Lord sits on His throne and judges, He does so based on our evidence of love for our fellow beings. Jesus told us this would be the case. Matthew 25: 31-46.
