This is a thread for having casual conversations with others who're on C-R.com at the same time as you.

Hey Alex P, greymare, juantoo3, mee and Tao_Equus.

So... how is the weather in <insert hometown here>? What do you think of the <insert local sports team here> this year? I hope your <insert important familial relation that wasn't feeling well here> is doing better.

Take care.

Yesh. It's still pretty early here, 6:30 in the AM. I'm still waking up and debating whether or not to make some tea. I like to mix green tea with peppermint and sweeten it with a little agave nectar and sugar, then add some soy milk. *drools*

11.47 am here, bright skies with a few big cumulus clouds floating by. Not getting much work done as I'm sidetracked here and running to toilet every 10 minutes after fasting yesterday and eating a large "purge" bar of dark chocolate before bed last night.

About to go make a cappuccino and peel the veg for a pot of soup.

Ack Tao, are you doing one of those gut cleansing things? Those look tough.

lol, nothing religious about it, no pharmaceuticals involved. Just 1 day at the begining of each month I do not eat anything except a big bar of dark chocolate before bed. Next day my plumbing is all cleaned out.

I dont follow it. Im far to volatile to be able to embody Taoist principles and to be honest I enjoy being much more spontaneous than the Taoist ideal. Even if it does cause me some trouble. But I like the Taoist principles of least resistance, even if I do not adopt them.

I like tea more than coffee. I'm a bad american. :/

Cool thread.

The weather has turned sticky hot, the sweltering kind, and looks like no relief until at least later in the weekend. It's not football season, and the Jags haven't done much the last couple of years anyway. Nor the Bucs. The wife is doing better, thanks for asking. I'm about the same tho', that doesn't appear to be going to change. That's just the hand I was dealt, so I'll deal with it.

And yourself?

Oh, its 7:18 AM here, it's been a long night, since 9 PM last, just about time for me to head home. Have a great day everyone!

yeh I have noticed you mention your teas a number of times in your posts. I went through a tea phase in my 20's when I was living in the countryside and travelling. I do like teas, just sort of slipped out of the habit of buying them.
