Atheist board?

What is Buddhism? An atheist based faith. (a gross oversimplification, but Buddhism is a faith that is also atheist)

Atheism, Secularism, Humanism...these are all recognized philosophical pathways...it seems (to me) right to recognize them as such.

You could look at it that way but there is spirituality... I see none of that in atheism... *shrugs*

Then they have an area already if you think they should be reconised on here.... The science board and the philosophy board...

Some say Buddhism is a "way" of thinking, or Philosophy though instead of a religion.

It's not that I have anything agianst people having no faith, just there are plenty areas on this site for their views... I just find when you're on one of those forums with oodles of forums... They are over the top and complicated and you get lost in a void which consumes your soul! :eek: I used to be a member of a christian forum that had like seven forums it went well, it updated and ended up literally with 37 sub forums.... It isn't doing so well now....

I know it is just an idea but giving my opinion like everyone else so the dude who makes the calls has something to consider before making a decision.....
 
I do not think it would be any improvement on what we have. I would vote no.
