Mee,

When you post your C&Ps here, or others go ringing peoples doorbells you are saying "I know better than you do".

tao
your words not mine :)

i think you will find that i point to the bible and i focus on the things in the bible and it is always about the kingdom , matthew 24;14

how people respond to the preaching of the GOODNEWS, will reveal much about a person .

for mee when someone pointed to the bible and showed me the kingdom hope i thought GREAAAAAAT Daniel 2;44

but as i mentioned before , how people respond reveals what they are , for mee i thought now that is GOODNEWS .

Not at all. I find you mindlessly copying and pasting, shoving the watchtower down everyones throats, following polytheistic doctrines and numerology by an unknown organization that dictates how you are to understand their rewritten bible, all the while christians are cautious of the track-record of your religions false prophecies which you keep reiterating as some kind of truth that the bible warns us about.

Not at all. I find you mindlessly copying and pasting, .
yes its very informative :) and sets us straight PSALM 83;18 the bible is good to bring to the fore
That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah,
You alone are the Most High over all the earth.
psalm 83;18

and mee thinks it is very good ,and most benificial for teaching and seting things straight .

mee thinks that the bible promises are very good DANIEL 2;44-45

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite; 45 forasmuch as you beheld that out of the mountain a stone was cut not by hands, and [that] it crushed the iron, the copper, the molded clay, the silver and the gold. The grand God himself has made known to the king what is to occur after this. And the dream is reliable, and the interpretation of it is trustworthy."

mee likes that one :) and that heavenly kingdom has been well and truely established since 1914 , and that heavenly kingdom that God set up in heaven has Jesus as a reigning king,
yes Jesus has been GIVEN rulership indeed
DANIEL 7;13-14

I've think we've done a very good job trying to help mee settle into the community and post on a more personal level.

Sure, mee has over-enthused sometimes and we've tried to take steps to keep this constructive - but funnily enough, I don't recall mee ever trying to make personal attacks on other people here. Perhaps this thread is developing into one where others show their distance from the teachings of Jesus? :)

A couple of reasons why I've made a special effort to help mee be a part of this community:

1. JW's are part of the religious order of the world, therefore it would be daft to actively seek to exclude them

2. Previous experience of my debating with JW's has overwhelmingly been positive. I'm not going to change their minds about anything, but so the reverse is true. However, the fun comes from the experience of the debate itself. JW's ALWAYS stick to scripture - that means I never deleved into scripture more than when debating with JW's, and I even bought a Strong's on my birthday once to help me understand the Bible better. Let's put that clearer - a non-Christian read the Bible a lot more and tried to understand it better because they wanted to understand JW arguments better. :)

3. A friend of mine was once at the bottom end of a depression, and at that point, you question whether there's any point to being alive. Then a couple of JW's approached on their door to door rounds. They didn't convince him to become a JW, and he hasn't joined any other faith since either - but they did help open his eyes to (or remind him of) a world beyond our understanding, or purpose and wonders, and he stills retains a sense of spirituality from it.

Bottom line is - JW's have a certain way of going about things, and you can either use that positively, or not. Personally, I like to try the former. After all, it's what I try to do with everyone of faith. :)

Good post!
I know of 1 person who went to her priest for comfort and advice when a loved one died. The priest couldn't offer much comfort for her and his knowledge of the Bible was awful (like mine!:))
2 days later JW's knocked on her door and after spending an afternoon in her house she felt a lot better and never looked back. 2 months later she became a JW.
They are experts on the Bible and the one's I have spoken to are nice people, indeed I look forward to them knocking on my door again and having tea and battenburg with them.

mee likes to bring the bibe to the fore :)

For [the] vision is yet for the appointed time, and it keeps panting on to the end, and it will not tell a lie.
Even if it should delay, keep in expectation of it; for it will without fail come true. It will not be late.
:)

But as for me,(mee) it is for Jehovah that I shall keep on the lookout. I will show a waiting attitude for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.
micah 7;7:)

Seriously if you find the JW ways interesting I would recommend you go and visit your local kingdom hall at 10am one Sunday.... :)

Who know's, maybe I will. However, I find the no blood issue and no birthday celebrations hard to swallow.

the kingdomhall does not have a sign on the door saying you cannot come in here and listen to the bible based talk on a sunday if you find the blood and birthdays hard to swallow .

no .... people from all different religions are welcome

it is open to the public :) but i better not invite you because i will more than likely be banned from this board, as i think it is breaking the board rules , but i am sure mee is allowed to put the bible verses on here .

This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ. JOHN 17;3

There is lots of taking in knowledge about the true God going on in the kingdom hall ,and lots of knowledge about Jesus Chirst as well .

thats because the bible is our aurthority :)

Hehe, I don't mean go agree with all they say and join them. I just meant if you are truly that interested in their ways and belife it would be good to go see them in their neck of the woods. Call it an experience... New experiences are fun :D There would be no "donation" required or membership, you could go and just sit at the back and observe and listen, here at our kingdom hall, the lobby area has a speaker system so you can hear the talks and studies with out even going in the main hall, maybe so at the local one near you.

I think for those that are used to church services and such, it is really an eye opener, Might just be one of the most friendly enviroments you may dwell in, there is discussion, debate and they come together as a community.

I wasn't suggesting it did, I was just pointing out a couple of things.

Pleased to hear it.

I like new experiences!:) That's what life is all about.

As hard as it is to tolerate mee's long-winded cut and paste appeals, I can't help but admire his convictions. I respect a person who stick with what he believes. And who, from all that I can tell, is happy where he is. It is somewhat refreshing that mee never seems to get jarred by the things that are said about him, or his beliefs. Rather than sting back, he merrily returns with a positive word. We should all learn from this.

And who, from all that I can tell, is happy where he is. quote]
:) mee is indeed :) it makes a change from the many people on the net who are in opposition to Jehovahs witnesses.

and it is usally those who have fell away from being a Jehovahs witness who are not happy, and have nothing at all to offer .

but mee likes to give out GOODNEWS, matthew 24;14

and it makes mee happy .

It is a tree of life to those taking hold of it, and those keeping fast hold of it are to be called happy.proverbs 3;18
