That sucks. To aid my troubleshooting: Is it "just" slow (not to detract from the annoyance), or are you getting blank screens with a brief error message at the top, complaining about database connectivity?

So how's the site holding up? I've been a bit out of touch yesterday.

The Wacken festival here in northern Germany was a giant mudslide this year.

That sounds so dramatic! I'm actually grateful to get to do something interesting for a change. Hospital life can get a bit monotonous... I hope our hosting service will follow through with our requests, which will hopefully resolve the occasional database error messages.

It was nice. The sauce was a bit disappointing, but not bad. No dal though! I miss my beans and lentils and peas. When I get out of here, I'll gorge myself on dal. Or refried beans.

Vegetable rice, "curry" sauce. And cake!

Yeah, but here they really try. They even have vegan sandwich spread. There was a bit of confusion the first day or two - had to gently point out that ham isn't vegetarian. But it's all smoothed out now.

Omelettes with mushrooms, peach preserves. My partner brought me a small glass of black olives. I had a few to satisfy my salt craving.

Small dogs can be vicious! Also, dogs seem to accompany Ares in iconography. Large ones. ;)

That looks nice! Mmmmh crisps... I didn't take a picture, but mine was hospital spaghetti with some kind of vegetable sauce. It was okay, but I would have given... um... a sip from my coffee mug, for a handful of salty delicious crisps!

Yes, and also some writings by "Frater Eremor", a LHP practitioner who I think is from Europe. I wouldn't count Crowley in the LHP camp. But I know his writings well. Back to dozing in my hospital bed. I'll be back up to speed in a few days.
