I'm not sure what to make of it. Any theories?

Once I spot someone doing this, I simply make a point of ignoring them. That's too bad because one of these times they might have something to contribute. :(

Could be talking about me... if the shoe fits and all.

I can assure you it has nothing to do with posting numbers.

Mostly just a choice of style.

I see threads as a discussion—a give and take.

Not an opportunity to put forth lengthy manifestos.

As for flippancy, that's just who I am.

I don't take life or other people's piles of opinions too seriously.

You'll also find it hard to offend me.

These are after all, just words.

That's your loss and quite silly.... "Oh so and so made a comment I believe to be "pointless" I best ignore them from now on."

Well to begin with I thought you were.. but then I saw the red comment and I knew I obviously wasn't in that group cause I am a regular scholar. And you knows it!

Oh and most of my posts are way more than one line, but I do use many snappy one liners within my posts..


In reference to ignoring, I don't tend to do that (I mean using the option 'Ignore user') Unless they are quite vile and have a naughty naughty doo doo mouth.

I'm talking about 50 posts in a row... say within 48 hours.
 
Now that I'm getting out there on my own little flying saucer, its like there's not quite as much related content for me to contribute. Its hard to keep reading everyone's posts without sticking in a little something.
