If God spoke again, would you listen?

gee whiz, what a way to leave out the point.....
God is constantly talking - we simply need to learn how to listen. When we manage that, we are AWED that He speaks in so many ways, to so many souls, and gives them JUST what they need to move forward....

This fits in with what I wrote about this type of consciousness simply being "obscured" in many beings.

yes, a function of Higher Memory.
When one steps from the physical - time has no hold on the soul.
Time is only linear from a physical standpoint.
Time is just another Aspect of our Father. He Stands outside of Time.
All knowledge which exists, exists within the Father - and we have a DIRECT connection to Him.
The only thing a soul must do - is give energy to that connection.
Expand that connection, until it encompasses all of our being.
When we exist in the Light of Our Father - ALL THINGS are at our fingertips.
THIS is what we are to be preparing for.... to hold within our being the TRUTH of existence.....
We were Created, and we are being trained, to carry on the ACT of CREATING - with the competence of Our Father.
It is not "obscured" from us - we simply must work to remember....

but i DO see what you are trying to get across.... and i DO NOT mean to quibble... but there is a fundamental difference between the ideas that we have things WITHHELD from us, and the idea that we need only work to REMEMBER.....

and we are built following the image of our Creator..
as a Creator...

The brain is a RECEIVER.... it processes all the communications from US, into this environment...

the Human is like a radio controlled car....

G!D speaks every day, in H!r universe and in H!s spirit that descends on us. This has always been so and will always be so. The teachings are the shared core of every Religion and every human spirit (as well as others).

I meant whether God would speak again for the world.

God does speak to each individual, but not in words or voices. Most of us are too distracted in life to "listen" to what is said. If you mean that God speaks to you in words or voices, can you provide an example of the content of what you heard?

The post stands. Sh! speaks to me whenever I ponder a complex empirical relationship (like "why does a towed decoy on an aircraft wobble?" A matter of physical forces and complexity) or event (like "why does Russia insist on siding with al-Assad"). H! speaks to me when I have a Meeting with H!m (look up Quakewr Meetings). Nothing magical or mysterious here. What I do not do is write or blab on about it (something which all too frequently modernists do).

Seconded. :)

The G!d/dess speaks directly with that of G!d in everything. If the word is something "revealed" to only one or one group, IMHO, that alone is sufficient reason to question its authenticity.

I have a message from God. It's a very simple message. It begins with faith, hope, and love. The message is to have faith in mankind's potential, to hold on to the hope that humanity will one day rise above our current state, and to allow love to be our guiding compass x infinity.

This is what I hear from God anyway, and often enough to make me stop and think before I act selfishly. I don't think any one man can claim to be God, nor do I believe that one man alone can fix our world. I believe in the collective efforts of humanity to make the world a better place for both us and our descendants.

The message is not individual salvation, but rather the message is collective salvation where humanity is united under the greatest of all gifts given to mankind (love). The ever so tiny mustard seed that is love can lead us all towards a more fulfilling life. Even more than this, love can lead us all to God's kingdom on earth. We just gotta have faith and remain hopeful that we will one day achieve this together as a people.

End message. :D

There is an agenda here. I never stated that I have a message. Resist is on a fishing expedition. Is it because you have found some "reveled truth" hidden in the scribblings of some modernist? Seek the truth for yourself.

Anyone with half a brain should realize two things (1) G!D does not decieve and (2) the Sp!rit has no need of money. Between that and what GK said, that is enough message.

I agree with most of what Gatekeeper said, although faith isn't enough, hope is too weak, and love is often misunderstood.

Indeed, no one person can be God, and no one Messenger in the past has claimed to be one, either.

It is, indeed, time for humanity to unite in an effort to achieve a greater goal. However, merely being hopeful and not taking any actions to that end will not get anything done.

Radarmark, I am not on any expedition, but merely wanted to find out the exact statements of your "G!d" and "G!dess" that speak to you.

Well, there are several who did call themselves "G!D"... from Krishna to Mansur al-Hallaj. Now we are getting somewhere. "G!D is beyond knowledge and if I were to claim "I am one with G!D" do I literally mean I am Sh!? Unity requires enlightenment and education... it is up to us, not G!D. Is is for us to find unity in H!m. Is this collective or individual? I do not claim to know. What would be a "greater goal" than unity with each other and H!r?

No true Messengers would call themselves God because they would know better.

Could a drop of water from the ocean say "I am one with the Ocean"?

Our spiritual selves are all connected. Our minds are connected.

If one recognizes the most important issue humanity is facing collectively, then s/he would know what that greater goal humanity must achieve collectively.

I would still like to know what exactly was said by your "G!d" and "G!dess" that spoke to you. God does not go around solving each individual's problem and answer everyone's question because God is not that pathetic.

Well, who are you to think you have the right to call a billion Hindus and Sufi's wrong? Your ignorance on the matter of who has called themselves G!D is simply overwhelming. Try learning about other religions before you mount up on that white horse.

Who are you to tell the L!RD what to do? Excuse me, you criticize some (the Lord Krishna) for calling himself G!D, and then you define what G!D should be doing? Take the plank out of your own eye before you point out the mote in another's.

You are entitled to belittle my beliefs and my G!D, fine, but it really says far more about your powers of reason, ideology, and emotional state..

There are people in many different religions who sit in silence. Why? Because when we are silent God speaks. God is speaking to all of us no matter if we have religion or not.
