I've not personally worked with Mr. Weinstein and can't speak as to the allegations lodged against him, but I will say that news travels fast in this biz. The reputations of those, producers, directors and yes, even photogs engaging in such activities is well known. Models and actresses have their own little underground network in that regard. Not condoning the activity mind you, just saying, it's highly unlikely that any model or actress with a union card didn't know going in what they were up against.

As for myself, I can honestly say I've never inappropriately propositioned any model or actress I've ever worked with. Just not me. However, I've been propositioned a number of times by said models and actresses and I can tell you firsthand, things can get quite ugly when such tactics fail to achieve desired results. The moral of the story, in this biz, while the casting couch is alive and well, things aren't always as one-sided as they may appear.

Many men, and most women.... And due to the nature if acting (fame and fortune) many as Aussie indicated used this to get ahead.

Which came first is an interesting question...were producers seduced by women to trade sexual favors for parts? And then discovered the power of their position and began demanding it? Chicken or egg? There is a reason we call prostitution the oldest profession.

My cousin...a pig farmer...bought a school bus that had all the windows shot out at auction...he pulled out the seats and used it to transport pigs from the farm to the co-op. We'd heard a bunch of pigs out of their stalls and down the runway to the bus...shut the door and be off at 630 in the morning... Just so we could hit the bus stops...

As we'd pull up the kids would start to come to the bus...the pigs would jump up and look out the windows and squeal...the stench would hit the kids and they'd scream..

good fun.

I didn't realize it was that long ago. Their stuff is still pretty popular down here.
