I thought it varied...from ortho, conservative, reform, reconstruction and renewal....I've met a number of flavors and lots of conservatives that were more literal than ultra orthos
Whether or not He determines it is irrelevant. All that matters is that God knows that if I exist I am going to go to Hell. If He knows this then allows my existence He has condemned me to hell and the only chance I have in escaping it is to prove His knowledge faulty.. a steep task to put it lightly.
Another way I can think to put it is that if I have option A and B in front of me and God tells you that I am going to choose A.. how can I possibly choose B?

Perhaps 'God knows' that at the end of time all creation will have returned to the ultimate perfection from which it originated -- to 'Himself'?

No, what actually matters is the choices you make. God will honour those choices. That's what being 'free' and 'autonomous' means.

Can you explain the relevance? If God knows I am going to do something, it is as good as done right? What does it matter whether or not He directly influenced me to do it or not?
That's the problem I am having, if God knows the choices I'm going to make before I make them then they are merely an illusion of choices.

I believe this is the case, whether talking about what it says in the Qur'an or Hindu, Buddhist and Gnostic texts and pagan traditions, it's quite a consistent belief.
Because God knows what you are going to do does not mean God's will is that you do it. Pre-knowledge does not mean pre-determination.
No they're not, that doesn't follow at all – I'd cite the analogy of parent and child again – a parent often knows what their child is going to do, but that does not mean the child is being coerced in any way by the parent.

Well, this isn't very clear. 'God' already sees the result, before it happens? But I can change that result by my own choice, before it happens? Perhaps it's really just human beings trying to limit 'God'?
