How Can We Attract New Members...?

I am hardly what you would call an active member, so perhaps I can speak from both sides of the fence, as it were. I was recommended to this site by Corvus (DCVision), who back in the day published some of his writings here, on a seperate forum that was created for him. No idea where they went, but he passed over in 2012, and time moves fast on here.

So I came here and said my piece, and was thoroughly misunderstood - so far so as-usual lol. But having said my piece, honestly, there was little more to say. I do have real sympathy for those who ask lots of questions but aren't in the right lifetime to have the numinous experience, they are well on the way, but for most it would be better for them to meditate every day, get lots of therapy, and do as much voluntary work as they can.

OK, so I suppose I'm back saying my piece! In answer to your question, I would suggest using the Law of Attraction. This is a spiritually minded forum, after all. Visualise a forum vibrant with spiritual energy and enquiry, put loads of energy into that, give thanks, put loads more energy into that, and let it go.

A final thought. Karmayoga is being of service to the universe, which this forum undoubtedly is, without attachment to results. Just saying.

For anybody still listening: Are we still looking for ways to attract new members?

Not sure. My math might be a little hazy, but I think 50 new members have proclaimed themselves Jesus in the last few months. Alas, Jesus didn't like it here. Or he is going back to school to learn proper grammar and how to cite sources. Eventually he'll come back with his broken caps lock key and educate us all.

I guess things ebb and flow, but I miss the lively discussions we used to have here. Things have been extremely quiet!
There used to be like 20 people who were discussing and debating more or less round the clock (or so it seemed)
I have been stopping by more often right as things began to drop off. I don't know where everybody went?

I just started a new thread (I've been working on the material for awhile and have more to add) but I don't know if it was badly timed, or if anybody will see it!

I noticed that too. I have been too busy to post questions or ask for help with some of my research. My kids are a lot already. With another child on the way, I assume I won't have any free time to study religions for quite awhile.

Well, it sounds like congratulations are in order! Hope all goes well!

I hope you drop in once in awhile though!!

You know, I'm tired of forum Jesuses.

I want to see a forum Ganesh.

This has always seemed to be a watch what you wish for thing.... we have had influxes of bots, or saviors or preachers or teachers...

The wild thing is we would accept them all, if they didn't decide to go bull in a China shop along the way.

What's wrong with that?

There are several reasons for that..
We have migrated to a different server .. it might have affected new member frequency.

We have also lost RJM, and are currently limiting political content .. but we are still here. :)
My sad face :(reply because we lost RJM--do you know why he left? Is he ok? Is he coming back? I don't know if you can say.
I certainly notice his absence. His and Cino's. 🫤
Also notice juantoo isn't around... they three added much.

I thought I saw Juantoo3 pop in a few weeks ago. Haven't seen Cino in forever.
