Why do you need Jesus? He saves you from what?

More to it of course, but salvation is the cornerstone of Christianity. That's why it is sometimes stressed over all else. The point I was trying to make in the post you quoted part of is, however great the need for salvation may be, not everyone wants or will except it and the more they are pushed to do so, the less likely they will. So yeah, it's that accept Jesus or else attitude of some individuals and church structures that puts people off. IMO at least.

Actually, that was my clumsy way of trying to start a conversation with you about my understanding of the gospel of Jesus.

(later) It doesn't have to be about that. I got the idea today that I might like having some kind of discussion with you about something, and this topic looked like a good place to start.

(later) I guess it would be better to go back and respond to what you've been saying in this thread. :D

Keep your brain engaged otherwise you make such posts. ;)

I believe Jesus was a great prophet.
Christians believe Jesus the Christ was far more than just a great prophet
God saved his prophets.
Only the Biblical prophets that the Quran chooses to acknowledge. Jeremiah was stoned to death. Isiaah was cut in two under the orders of Manasseh. They are two of the most important Old Testament prophets.
according to their view, Jesus can not save himself from the cross.
You continue to misunderstand the whole message of the incarnation, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus the Christ

We don't like this sort of posting here. Nobody is tilting at you for your beliefs. Others are entitled to theirs, without being subjected to veiled insults comparing them to animals
I understand, I will not be posting here anymore. All the best....

That's up to you. It's about discussion and learning, not preaching and insulting the beliefs of others

The Holy Bible says:
Deuteronomy 21:22
Revised Standard Version (RSV)
22 “And if a man has committed a crime punishable by death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree,
23 his body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is accursed by God; you shall not defile your land which the Lord your God gives you for an inheritance.
Deuteronomy 18:20
(New International Version)
But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.”
Please read again the words "to be put to death".
our topic is about Jesus. So, If you believe that Jesus died on the cross then according to the above verses of the Bible (God forbid me) his death is accursed death. Jesus was a true prophet and God saved him as God saved Jonah, Ibraheem, Moses, the Prophet of Islam, and other his true prophets.

Jesus Christ was not a prophet

Again, the Christian Bahai conundrum as with Bahai conundrum with all other religions.
For Christians, Jesus is the anointed son of God expressly sent to save humankind from the original sin with the sacrifice of his life. For Bahais, he is just another prophet whose message has been corrupted, so people must now follow the 19th Century uneducated Iranian, Bahaollah, who brings the latest message from Allah or face the consequences.

"Terrible is the retribution of Allah"
