Do serve God...or a 'Trinity'?

For salvation? Not important. Doctrine and tradition? That's another story. If one challenges both doctrine and tradition, they get what you see here.
Here's a logic question...which is more important in the end; knowing what is right, or doing what is right? Knowledge?, or Salvation? Book knowledge, or experience? Menu, or the Meal?

I seem to recall a parable, about someone sowing seeds.

Matthew
13 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

I think my replies to some of you were lost when the site went down. Oh well, happy 4th to all of you fellow treasoners!!!

Brian mentioned the last week or so deleted, and apologized. The site was moved from one host to another is how I understood, and some data was lost. Bummer, I had a couple good posts. Oh well.

I went through and peeked on some of my old favorites, they seem intact.

Link to a post on an old thread, well worth reviewing. Written by bananabrain, whom I hold as a Jewish scholar, in discussion with bobx (no lightweight in scholarship himself) are discussing the ramifications of Document Hypothesis / Redaction Theory, particularly applied to the Old Testament. The thread is Tilting at Windmills, and is in response to the Article on the main board by bobx, Torah Torah Torah is the name of the article.

bb has some especially good responses from the Jewish perspective.
